Large property but the try to sell you a villa as soon as you arrive! Also had to change room because phone wasn’t working and terrible view from room. Was given another room and hot water wasn’t working. Called four times and no one ever came. Definitely went down since Covid.

In the hotel was unexpected fees for the WiFi. I thought hotel had to be all inclusive. And the taxi fees are crazy expensive as well.

I would not recommend this place, check in is a joke, staff is unefficicient , beach is dirty, have to take a shuttle bus everywhere and it runs every 15-20 min, the only good thing is the food, my daughter left her glasses in the room and when we went back to get it the glasses were lost. They wouldnt let us in the room because we already checked out, Housekeeping didnt see them they said.. and good luck finding who's in charge, would not stay even for free

Los empleados dan muy buen trato a los clientes, la comida muy buena, lo que no me gustó tanto es la logística del hotel para moverse dentro del mismo por su magnitud y hay que estar esperando transporte para desplazarse y por esta situación que se pierde tiempo en disfrutar de las atracciones. pero en general el concepto está bien.

This chain of hotels has changed a lot. The costumer service is not the same. I encountered a problem and the supervisor Alexxi didn’t try to help. He kept focusing on the hotels rules and policies instead of helping. The rooms are outdated with the exception of VIP. Not everybody can do VIP. They push for their timeshare way too much. Overall I’m very dissatisfied with this chain of hotels. Won’t be staying here ever again.

I had an amazing time for it to be my first time going to DR I loved it. Staff were amazing food was ok not great but I just like well seasoned food and I know it’s hard to please many ppl. The frozen strawberry daiquiris are so good it taste like candy. The entertainment was fun me and my husband had a blast. Only thing I did not like was the night clubs was closed down not sure if they will open it up again but after about 11pm it’s only a Casino thats opens till 2 AM and a bar thats opens till 12 AM. Overall good place to go for a nice chill experience. My next time going to DR I want to experience something more upscale but I will come back to cofresi and this time I will bring my children

Me and my family arrived to the property at 3am. We were very tired to find out our rooms were not ready. When we booked our reservation it clearly stated a Kind bed. We were couples, and we had to sleep in a full beds because they did not honor our request. The Attendant stated he has nothing to do with it because we booked it through Expedia and it's not their problem and maybe we can change rooms next day but it's not guaranteed . How can that be possible? Expedia offers this resort as an option and everything should be honor to the customers. Since day one everything was horrible. Our flight going back home was a late flight we asked to stay in the property until 2pm which they did let us stay however they promised to let us use one room to shower and get ready and didn't happen. We stood in line waiting to check out for 1 hour and they kept telling us just to wait and we were running out of time. We had change in the bathrooms to not miss our flight. I will not go back to this resort. I had visited DR for several times different resorts and never had this issues.

Very uncomfortable everything is a long walk and the staff is rude as well you pay for a room with a hot tube and there no hot tube working and no hot water you call for service and they send me someone and I paid them $300 as a tip and and still the service was wrong I am a business women I went to do business and I book 2 rooms worse place ever I stand in I sent an email to cofrsi resort and voice my complaints and we ask if we can be move to another room I was told no I can’t be move after I paid for a room and service

This is my second year in a row staying at the Cofresi Palms Resort for a couple days before boarding a liveaboard. Both times have been a pleasant enough experience. The only issue that I had this time was that my room key kept deactivating although I kept it away from phone and my credit cards (both I found out after it deactivating twice but then two more times it deactivated again) and my room was not near the lobby where I had to get it fixed so that was very inconvenient. I also didn't ask why but the swim up bar was closed this year. Maybe for renovations? Otherwise I had a relaxing time during my stay.

The property has many options when it comes to pools. The beach was nice and clean with a lot of seating options. The spa was great and the fact that you can use the facilities without getting any services makes it even better. Food was ok but I will say if you stay or upgrade to their partner hotel, the quality does get better. Overall, I liked my experience at this hotel. I was nervous when I saw the reviews but this hotel is worth going to.

La peor experiencia q he vivido en un resort, me entregaron la habitación con la taza sanitaria embarrada de excremento, las llaves de la habitación no funcionaban demoraba una hora diaria de mis vacaciones diarias solamente para entrar a la habitación, recepción no contesta el teléfono ni resuelve ningún problema, simplemente la pero experiencia en este resort, sucio y poca variedad de comida en los buffet, horribleeeeeeeeeee

Was very excited to be spending my honeymoon at this place as it was the first time traveling there when we arrived at check in we had to pay more money for an additional person when we already had an extra room doors continued to get locked anytime we would leave the room we would have to get a bus back to lobby a couple of different times which was a pain as i had my 4 month old we were also treated badly by some staff we had requested a matrimonial room we did not received any of the accommodations we requested will not be recommending this place

Really enjoyed the stay. Some of the standard rooms are outdated from what I’ve heard but the newer rooms are great, spacious and the bathroom is amazing! Pools and beach areas are not the best in class but are awesome and very enjoyable. Spa was nice. Not the newest all inclusive but was very pleased for the price. Food was really good and consistent, even at the buffets. We had no issues with the room. They try to upsell you to become a member but wasn’t what we are looking for, they left us alone after the first day. If you are able to avoid the outdated standard rooms we got an amazing deal. I had zero regrets, one of the best vacation packages in terms of value I have ever received.

Check in was at 3pm but we were not able to check into our room until after 8pm! We were denied any compensation, apology, or even any politeness. The reception staff were incredibly rude and when asked, refused to get a manager. We walked and carried our luggage to and from reception with no help. My wife is 34 weeks pregnant! Finally, on the day of our check out, nobody called our room or reminded us of the time of check out, and after that time passed our room keys were deactivated with all of our stuff locked in the room. It took over an hour for someone to come let us back into the room, and then we were left to drag our bags (including a 50 lb suitcase) up all the stairs and across the resort to reception. Then we were told we were going to be charged an extra day for checking out late. I refused this and we were told we cannot leave. They tried to detain us against our wills regardless of the fact that we had an international flight home to catch. Finally, we just took our bags and walked off, which is when a security guard forcefully restrained my 34 weeks pregnant wife. We shouted for help and a manager realized how outrageous it was to grab my wife and told the security guard to release her. Finally we were told we were “free to leave, but would not be allowed back” which is laughable, as we would go anywhere on earth before returning there. The resort lost power repeatedly, our building flooded, there was often a putrid smell of sewage…

I couldn’t make reservations for dinners. I had to eat every single night at the same buffet I ate breakfast and lunch. The only positive was some of the buffet employees very nice and welcoming. When we first arrived we were told there was only one room left and it was full of mold we were able to smell it too. Of course I went back to reception and they had to changed it. Workers in difficult moods all the time no matter how hard you try to be nice to them. I am so disappointed in them. I won’t recommend this hotel at all.

Although it seemed overwhelmingly large at checkin, we soon discovered that we could walk to anything we wanted to do. The pools were beautiful and well maintained. The bars were plentiful and easy to get a drink from. The food was adequate and the entertainment was good. Our biggest disappointment was our room which was called superior but had not enough space to unpack in.
