«Eine sehr schöne Lodge inmitten der Natur. Nur mit dem Boot erreichbar. Hatten hier als einzige der Unterkünfte in CR das Gefühl, dass Ausflüge sehr gepuscht werden und recht hochpreisig sind. Viele Delfine im Golfo Dulce… hatten diese mit dem Feldstecher vom Steg aus beobachtet. Rückblickend hätten wir anstelle der Rivertour die Delfintour gebucht - wollten aber zum Schluss unsere Reise nur noch geniessen und dies konnten wir hier bestens.»

Room #11 was perfect for an couple with an lovely patio including a hammock overlooking the river and ocean. «Playa Cativo Lodge is a wonderful place and the accommodations, food and staff were absolutely perfect. It was nice to be so close to the gulf which was calm, warm, sandy and perfect for swimming. My only complaint was that the entire front area of the lodge has been landscaped with grass and ornamental plants, many of which are not native.
