I stayed at the Windsong 13 years ago. The upkeep of the hotel was impeccable. The new additions are beautiful. The change was the staff. They were cold & unfriendly. When I ate breakfast I kept seeing 2 girls that worked there staring at me & then look away when I looked at them & smiled. That was how it was for the entirity of the trip with the exception of Raul & Sindy. I asked for a towel at the pool when they ran out & the staff seemed annoyed. My husband asked to take out a kayak & they told him he had to wait 2 hours because of tides. 25 minutes later they gave a kayak to someone else. When I asked why they spoke down to me saying I do not know the tides & were very patronizing. I felt unwanted by the staff. We went to another property for dinner & we felt totally welcomed. I am in the travel industry & this is my 7th time to the island. The people of Turks are the nicest. That is not who was woking here. It is a shame because it is a beautiful property on a beautiful part of the beach but next time I go I will stay at the property where we went for dinner based on the way the staff treated us alone
