Carol was very helpful, from booking, to our late arrival, to suggestions on what to do, to checking with us from time to time, and handling little issues that came up while we were there. The use of the fantastic pool, and deck facing the ocean were incredible! Since no one was staying in the house, the privacy on the beautiful property was so nice.

Wow! What a great stay!

This property is a guest house on a main property but while we were there no one was in the main house. So we had access to the whole property and private access to the pool. It was heaven! The check in and check out were seamless. Contact with the owner was prompt and helpful. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Carol!

3 Sisters Trip

Can't imagine a better place on Provo for a special vacation. Beautiful, quiet, secluded. Pool was a dream. Spectacular beaches a short drive away. A variety of fun activities to choose from. Our host Carol was super responsive and helpful.

Family Vacation with 2 teens

Host was great to respond quickly to inquiries and offer suggestions. It was nice to have a small discount when renting a car (and other activities if you choose) that were offered thru this rental. Check-in/property info: While very thorough, after a travel day the process was a little long for us. We traveled as a family of 4, kids 13 & 15. Property listing does note being environmentally friendly. This includes being asked to turn fans and AC off when not at the condo. No shoes in the condo. While reasonable requests, having more rules and things to keep up with was a little more than I would have like for vacation. The space we had to accommodate 4 suitcases in the guest house was challenging. While there is a kitchen/TV room, bedroom, bathroom and loft. It wasn't practical to take suitcases in the loft so our kids suitcases were in the family room and one in the bathroom closet. Just saying this to manage expectations. This accommodation would be much better for a family of 3 or a couple from our perspective. Ladder to the loft wasn't attached (had rubber feet and was kept at an angle to climb up and down) so we walked around that. If you are booking in the winter/spring months be aware that while you have access to all areas of the property, you are sharing with the owners. If water is calm you can use ladder to get in the ocean. Area by the water is rocky and not ideal to walk along the water or areas around the house. You would need to go to other areas.

Amazing vacation spot!

We had a great stay at Villa Kendara. The location was perfect for our family and the hosts detailed everything to make our week in paradise as informed as possible. The loft was great for our two teens but be warned that there is no door on the bedroom OR the bathroom! The pool was great to have when we weren’t beach hopping around the island!

Ideal Getaway

Carol and Tom’s little piece of paradise is fabulous. Villa Kendra provides a quiet, peaceful, private space to relax while also offering easy access to all the beaches and adventurous excursions. As the pictures suggest, the views of the beautiful turquoise waters are outstanding from the pool and the shore (with direct access to the ocean). They have stocked the villa with everything guests need to cook wonderful meals, enjoy various beaches (portable chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella), see the colorful fish out front (snorkel masks and fins), and just relax indoors. With all of the comforts of home, all you need to bring is your clothing. Carol’s recommendations – including dining out options, renting a car, taking tours, and exploring hidden gems on the island – were extremely helpful. Tom and Carol are exceptional hosts who have achieved an ideal balance of sharing thoughtful suggestions and providing ample privacy. We’ve already recommended Villa Kendra to family and friends, so if you can find an available week, we urge you to book it now.

Relaxing Retreat

We had a great time on our vacation last week. Carol and Tom were excellent. Their place is quiet with a great view of the clear, blue ocean. They were also very helpful with guidance before we arrived as well as with food and activity recommendations upon arrival. I would highly recommend this to couples that are looking to relax and get away!

Best Trip to the Caribbean

Carol and Tom were the best hosts we have every dealt with. Carol has the most complete list of “Where to go” and “Where to eat” I have ever seen. If it is not in her notebook it’s not in Turks! The view from the pool is breathtaking. The property is away from the resorts which was perfect. My wife and I look forward to our return trip to TCI and Villa Kendara. Thank you Tom and Carol for providing an excellent place to stay!!!

Most perfect place to stay

I simply could not say enough wonderful things about VK. The most gracious hosts. The most amazing views. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the sitting area down by the water, morning, and even well after dark, to see the stars. We rented a car so that we could explore many beaches. Carol has provided every answer to any question possible so that you feel confident in making your choices around the island. It was the most perfect vacation, and we owe a lot of that to VK!

Amazing view!

Couldn’t imagine a better view on the island than the one from the pool. The above garage unit doesn’t have much of one, but it is well very appointed (kitchen, bath, desk, grill, etc.). Great for a couple. Could easily be a 5 with more comfortable couch, chairs and poolside lounges. We would go back!

Great Stay in TCI

Carol and her husband were gracious hosts. The guesthouse is above the garage and has a private entrance. We loved that they had kayaks available for our use. Definitely visit Ricky’s Flamingo, Embers and Osteria Pizzeria. If you want to play some pool, Dragon Bar is where it’s at. Late night Thai at Kin Khao is the best way to end the evening.

Absolutely incredible.

This property is absolutely incredible. The views the pool, the ocean the amenities the privacy. This is a one of a kind property and a one of a kind experience. If you are thinking about visiting Turks and Caicos, this is a must stay listing. The owner was very easy to work with and the management team was friendly, kind, and attentive. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Perfect

We just got home from a week in paradise. Carol was so easy to get in touch with and answered all of our questions. Check-in was smooth and the location was perfect. And let me tell you - nothing beats the view from the pool. We rented a car and explored a new beach each day and loved coming back to end our afternoon in the pool. Can’t wait to come back here!

Just what I needed

Villa Kendara was the perfect peaceful private getaway with a gorgeous ocean view of Long Bay from the pool. The sunning deck by ocean was great with a convenient ladder to step into crystal clear, warm water and no more than chest deep for at least a half mile out. I know because I walked out to the floating tiki bar! Which was fun but drinks were pricey! Actually all food in TCI is pricey! Definitely bring food from home. The bay was perfect for floating and swimming. The villa was secluded enough from the resorts but only a half mile drive or jog to Grace Bay Area. The guest house was clean and a nice beach theme. Carol was a great host and it was so easy to communicate with her during my stay. I cannot wait to return!

Spectacular Setting

Stay was in a 1br guesthouse over the garage of a high-perched villa overlooking the sea and Long Bay. Great fit for a couple and the guesthouse had everything we needed for a relaxing stay in sunny Provo!

A Perfect Villa Getaway

Villa Kendara has everything and more. So much to do right from the shore or around the corner on Long Bay. The “Book” has all the info you need to shop, eat out or explore the island. Beautiful beaches for sunrises to sunsets! Or just enjoy the pool and the Caribbean blue views! TCI will not disappoint!!

Had to Return!

This was our second time at Villa Kendara. The last time was 10 years ago! We loved it as much this time as we did the first time. The location is wonderful with beautiful views sitting by the pool and easy access to all the beaches. Carol's guides make the vacation and we used so many of her recommendations for restaurants and activities. Villa Kendara is a perfect size for a couple.

Best view on Provo and perfect vacation spot

This was the most amazing stay. The owners have taken a lot of time to prepare guidebooks and recommendations on just about anything one could think of. We used many of these suggestions while planning out our days and were thoroughly impressed with everything. We cooked many of our meals at the guesthouse and it had everything one would need - even a salad spinner! The guesthouse comes equipped with anything you may need - beach chairs, snorkeling gear. It was a quiet oasis with a welcome breeze much of the time. The pool is right over the ocean with a view most would envy in Provo. It is not on a beach, but you are able to enter the ocean and snorkel or walk to the Tiki bar. There are two chairs right down near the ocean and we spent every single morning with coffee watching the sunrise there. You are also able to see the sunset at Villa Kendara - it is THAT good! The guesthouse and grounds are very clean and everything is well organized. We had no troubles at all and would highly recommend this as a most perfect place to stay. We loved every single second of our time on Provo and can honestly say that the owners and all they have done to be helpful certainly allowed us to make the most of our week! Thank you!
