Fint og sentralt hotell i Portsmouth. Ligger veldig nærme universitetet og en del gater med mye liv, men vi merket ikke noe til støy. Rommet var stort og senga god. Badet var litt lite og fremstod litt møkkete, men ikke noe som plaget oss. Frokosten var enkel, men god. Personalet var svært hyggelig og selve hotellet var fint og moderne.

If visiting a student, this is the place.
Ibis was for me a perfect small hotel very central in Portsmouth. Specially when you visit students at the university. It’s also just a few minutes stroll from the train or bus express to London. The big shopping area close to the harbor, bars, restaurant of all kind is just around the corner. The rooms in the hotel was small but very clever made, felt very comfortable. It was clean, light and fresh. The breakfast is delicious and displayed nicely. In the evening in the bar the servent was very correct and friendly. I would defiantly use it again.

For the price paid for a one night stay the Ibis offered very good value for your money. Within walking distance of everything we needed to do in Portsmouth. All staff members were polite and very helpful. Rooms are small and bathroom a bit tight on space but they are clean and comfortable. We slept well and the Ibis suited our needs. Would stay again at this hotel if visiting Portsmouth again.

The windows and doors do not provide enough sound proofing. The hotel is located in a very noisy area. Although it didn't help that there was a very noisy dog in the next room.

Good spot, not far from the train station and easily reasonable distance from the seafront or harbour and outlets area. Rooms are small, with access to the bathroom psychiatry right. And not much sound proofing.

Card machine shoved in your face instead of a hello to pay 12 quid a night's parking as soon as you walk in. Don't take cash not even for a pint. Probably why I seen half the residents in Spoons 2 minutes walk away. Bathroom tiny, lacks plug sockets. Good WiFi.

We stayed for one night so it was perfect for a stopover. Our room and en-suite was very clean and well presented but the bathroom was so small. You didn’t have a lot of leg room when sitting on the toilet and the shower was very small but that was the only negative thing! We had breakfast in the morning, there was a selection of food on offer so you wouldn’t go hungry to be fair. The staff we met were polite and friendly. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay again for a stopover.
