«Madeira was beautiful, the home was nice and spacious but much more dated than in the photos. It was fully stocked which was nice to cook in, and lots of space to roam around with a beautiful view. To note: Wifi is not strong throughout the top floor, a TV wasn't working, power went out numerous times and there was a stench that lingered from the bathrooms that lasted the whole stay. «This home is beautifully designed and located conveniently in Funchal. The kitchen is well-stocked (especially enjoyed having an air fryer!) and I appreciated the bathrooms all had plenty of toilet paper and soap. Having a gym onsite was also a great addition. «The house was spotless and a good location to get on highway. It was near the airport and could hear planes landing and taking off but did not hear planes after 11 p m. The owner lives in lower level and was very nice but did not speak much English and I do not speak Portuguese so checking in was a little complicated. I liked the location it was not as busy as Funchal and overlooked the mountains. The island is spectacular and would definitely recommend a stay on this island. »

«Nous avons apprécié dans cette maison le grand espace mais la propriétaire ne nous a pas dit qu’elle louait d’autres parties de la maison à d’autres personnes. La vaisselle et les couverts sont insuffisants… 5 petites cuillères pour 7 personnes… Elle loue le garage à une entreprise qui nous réveille à 7h du matin et c’est horrible… La maison est très mal isolée et le bruit de la rue est insupportable. Enfin nous avons adoré Madère qui est une île magnifique 😍.»

"Fantastisk hotell med flott beliggenhet i solfylte Calheta. Hotellet utmerker seg spesielt på kundeservicen, der alle er veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Alle restaurantene håndterte matallergier eksemplarisk, noe som ikke er en selvfølge. Stemningen på hotellet er veldig rolig og avslappende, både ved bassenget og ved solsengene nede ved havet. Både fellesområdene og hotellrommet var veldig rent, og det vaskes/ryddes flere ganger daglig. Vi kommer definitivt tilbake!!"

"A wonderful hotel with fantastic staff. Everything was clean and of a high standard, with a great sea view. It was lovely to be able to swim in the sea, and the pools were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection and many new items every day. The best part was the man who made fresh omelettes daily, increadibly service-minded, smiling and friendly. Second time at this hotel, and be back - love everything with it. Close to lovely restaurants and bus 9 to the airport. "
