This was a great place to stay in Port Douglas. So close to the beach and walking distance to the shops. The owners were so helpful and made it really easy to check in. The accomodation was perfect with everything we needed. Would definitely book again.

Ideal Location
An ideal location for Port Douglas centre. Manager, Tony was very helpful and easy communication. Our apartment was on the ground floor next to the pool and consequently was noisy at times. The apartment was comfortable with all the necessary facilities for our stay. A couple of minor issues though, the WiFi was not the best, unusable at times and the satellite TV lost the signal frequently. Understandable given the location but none the less frustrating, as our time in PD was the only occasion on our extended trip round Oz that I wanted to watch sport on the TV. Overall though if you are looking for an ideally located and comfortable apartment in PD then the White House is perfect.

The place has been extensively refurbished and it very comfortable. Its proximity to the beach was great as it was only about 2 minutes walk away. The BBQ was good and being able to have breakfast and lunch on the balcony was a real bonus. Highly recommended

Nicely appointed clean light & bright large apartments in a boutique group. Nicely located between town centre and the beach, so very convenient. Management was very helpful and positive. Enjoyed our stay here.

Clean big room. We had a bad luck with the room, tv was broken after first night but host Tony replaced the tv fast! Single beds was good but the double bed need to be replaced

Worth every penny!

Beautiful accommodations in the heart of Port Douglas. We had the 3 bedroom penthouse and could not have been happier. It was spacious and clean with 2 balconies. Located only 1 block from the beach in quiet neighborhood. Best place to stay in Port Douglas

Far north Qld family holiday
Really enjoyed our first time stay at The White House. Amazing apartment (2 bedroom roof terrace). Very clean and 2 huge balconies. Had everything you want in a family holiday accommodation. Tony was extremely accommodating and helpful. Great location, close to the beach and main activity in town. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Port Douglas.

Great stay with very helpful service. Was called 2 days before to explain check in as reception was closed. Clean, comfortable apartments short walk from beach or town centre for restaurants, bars and shops!

Great place to stay. We had two grandkids with us and it was ideal for us. Quiet, very close to the beach and Macrossan Street. Nice size pool for our young grandsons and good barbecue area for easy dinners. Undercover parking, aircon in bedrooms and living area, helpful host, nice balcony for that sneaky wine while the kids had a bit of quiet time with the cartoon channel. What more could we grandparents ask for?

Spacious, well located and quiet.
The apartment is very well equipped, comfortably furnished and has a spacious balcony with a pleasant outlook on a park. It is ideal for self-catering whilst there are many good restaurants within walking distance.

Thank you John, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We try to have everything in the apartments that guests are likely to need to enjoy their "home away from home". It's a huge bonus to have such a beautiful park to look at from the balconies, with all the varied bird life in the magnificent melaleuca trees.

Boutique Queenslander style hotel
A beautiful small apartment style hotel in excellent location. Stayed for a week and room was spacious and well appointed with large fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, easy stroll to beach and only a block from Macrossan st. One of the cleanest accommodation I have experienced.

Lovely quiet & spacious
Our holiday was a welcome respite. Margaret was very welcoming and happy to assist with any enquiries (loved her little doggy pal Maxine). We also liked the old Queenslander style of the building. The weather was hotter and wetter than we've encountered in Port Douglas before but good aircon and the beach close by kept us happy.

Thank you Annie, I'm so glad you enjoyed your holiday in spite of our tropical summer weather. That's one of the best things about having large, airy apartments - they're cool even on the steamiest days. (Of course, the airconditioners in every room are great too!) Maxi says thanks for the pats.
