Beachcomber's - 7013 Sea Mist

Enjoy the warm Florida sunshine while staying in this nicely decorated home overlooking a very pretty canal where you can enjoy an abundance of wildlife. To front of the house there is a nice screened front porch is a nice little reading spot. Upon entering the villa to the right is the family room with flat-screen TV. large comfortable furniture and lovely hardwood floors.

The combination dining kitchen area enables you to view the pool and private backyard where you can watch some of Florida`s native birds. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with an ice maker. The master bedroom which has a king bed with ensuite bath is located on the right-hand side of the villa with a tub and large walk-in shower.
This bath is also accessible from the pool area. The three guest bedrooms located to the left of the living room consist of two twin bedrooms and one queen bedroom. These rooms share a hall shower room. The lovely furnishings in each room are bright and cheerful making this a charming place for your vacation stay. Afternoons spent poolside will be relaxing in this very private setting. During the day enjoy watching the Florida birds in the canal, spend the evening barbequing and dining outside on the screened lanai with your family, and watch the sunset.

Within 10 minutes you can be at Englewood beach and Manasota Key or also a beautiful drive to Boca Grande.

Plenty of shopping and restaurants close by to enjoy.

Winter getaway

Stayed here for 33 nights to get away from the snow & cold in Detroit. Lesley is very easy to work with. The house is pretty much as advertised. It’s very private and when you’re sitting out by the pool it’s like you’re looking at a picture post card. Be advised though that the houses proximity to the highway means that when you’re sitting outside there’s a near constant drone of traffic. The living room furniture and the cookware need a total upgrade. When you sit down you sink halfway to the floor and the pots and pans have little or no Teflon left. The pool was great.

A little slice of paradise

Everything about this place was incredible! Lesley was readily available for any questions I had so kind to me when I discovered one of my kids had accidentally taken a towel home. The home is perfectly as described with virtually no neighbors or noise. We will definitely be back!

The property manager was excellent. The house, not so great.

We were disappointed with the overall experience. It was listed as 4.7 stars, but it was not clean. The living room furniture is old, dirty and needs to be replaced. The bed in the master was good, but the others were not. We had problems with the pool and the internet, but these were quickly and generously taken care of by the property manager who was very responsive. The property seems secluded and very private as you can’t see the neighbors when in the back yard. I would rate the house a 3/5, but the property manager a 5/5.

Secluded paradise

The check in process went seamless, just unlocked the door. The house is bigger then it looks on the pictures, wich was a plesant surprise. It was fairly clean, everything was neat and orgonized. The bedrooms are good size with comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Maybe it would be a good idea to have some basic spices in the cabinet. The pool area is spacious with a great view of the canal and greenery. We loved the fact that there are no houses beside. It was very privat and quiet. The location is great. Grocery store, dollar store, gas station are very close. We drove to Manasota Keys every night to see sunset, it was a short drive. The house located central, so you can drive to Cape Coral, Napels, Siesta Key, Anna Maria Island, St. Petersburg, Tampa.... We visited Warm Mineral Springs and it was an awesome experience. It is just 20 min drive from the house. Overall we loved everything about the house and will stay there in the near future.

Beautiful home and close to everything

My family and I brought my mom to Florida this year. It was her first time ever being there and she loved it. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It had everything we needed and it was close to everything. The kids loved riding the bikes to get ice cream and we all enjoyed the pool every evening. It was a very peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again...Thanks again for letting us stay in your home!

Thank you Lesley for a wonderful vacation!

Wow, we had an amazing vacation at this property! What we loved the most was complete privacy of the location, you can’t see or hear anything but the beautiful bird songs in the backyard! The heated pool was so much fun for kids and adults! You watch exotic birds flying by while enjoying yourself floating on the noodle. The house itself was very spacious for a family of 7 (2 parents and 5 kids ages 8-20), had enough towels, kitchenware for everyone. The host was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. All our questions were answered immediately and I really appreciated a kind and hospitable tone of our conversation. The area is also very convenient and the beach park is truly a tropical island that I dreamed to experience. Now that we are back home it truly feels like we were in a magical dream! Thank you Lesley

House was liked it was described. Very clean and roomy. Quite neighborhood. Bikes were a nice bonus for riding around the neighborhood. Near stores and a short drive to the beach. House will work great for a family.

Nice vacation

The house is a little old and needs some updates especially in the kitchen(the cookware was worn-out),also there were cockroaches in the kitchen,but the house was well stocked with towels,beach stuff like umbrella,chairs and toys for the kids,the pool is beautiful,the area is not busy and you can get to the beach literally for 15 minuets.The communication with the management was easy.Overall we had a great time!

place is not bad, however too many details can ruin the stay

The communication with the property manager is probably on top of the list of being the worst thing about this place. She barely responded to any of our questions or requests and only communicated when something needed to be paid. The wifi thats in the house only works with ONE device ONLY. Another words the plan that they installed there is the minimum capacity that supports only one device. As a results the internet was constantly spotty and not reliable. No supply of toilet paper or paper towel or any other cleaning supplies. The beds were almost falling apart, wobbly and making noise. The worst part was that there was no warning about the wild life there. There is a creek in the back of the house that apparently has alligators and other wild creatures like different kinds of snakes. In fact, my mom saw a snake just outside of the house in the driveway and got really scared. Since we had two small children with us it was pretty dangerous to go outside and take walks with the stroller. It was our first time in this part of the state and so it would have beee=n helpful to have some sort of a guidance or just some friendly advice. It is not a cheap stay by a y means and therefore there should be a better way to communicate with the guests and be more attentive to their needs.

Amazing trip to Florida!

We travelled to Port Charlotte for our 1 week stay from Ontario Canada with our 3 kids and another family. The home was perfect for both familes with all the must haves that go along with having small children (all one floor, washing machine and most importantly, a heated pool!) It was only a couple min drive to EVERYTHING we needed as well as being in close proximity to several beaches. When in contact with the owner, she was quick responding, courteous, and so helpful! We would not hesitate to return !
