I have to say I’ve never had such a bad experience. It started out great. Front desk attendant was very nice and helpful and the room was good too. The TV wouldn’t work but it wasn’t the end of the world. The big issue was the next morning at checkout time. We were running about 10 min late after checkout and I did try to call the front desk to let them know but there isn’t a direct line and I would have to walk over there. This man that claimed to be housekeeping knocked on the door and I told him through the door that we were just a few minutes behind. He acted like he didn’t understand and had the audacity to open the door! Talk about a total invasion of privacy! I was so angry. I had to go out and tell him again that I was working on leaving. He had a very hateful look on his face. I kept the peace to get out of there. I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel in my life. I will never stay there again and travel to that area frequently. Unbelievable and maddening to say the least. I would not recommend that anyone stay there unless you’re prepared for such poor treatment.
