«Large 1970s house. Tidy and good location to beach, cafes and 4 square shop. Reasonably happy with stay but there some things that need addressing.1) Upstairs Queen bed- the mattress springs gone on the right side and the mattress feels like you are sleeping on a slope. Definitely needs replacing 2) Lack of outdoor chairs on the deck 3) Pool cue sticks in garage has lost their tips and need to be replaced 4) outside furniture (table and chairs could do with a good clean or be replaced 5) BBQ - ...

«Highly recommend this accommodation if you are seeking a private, secluded place to stay but within easy, short travel to the city (any of Wgtn, Lower Hutt or Porirua). The deck area is fantastic - a view of the forest, great couches and the hot tub. We will definitely book again.»

«This is an exceptional property set in a beautiful rural location with exquisite views over landscaped gardens. It is so peaceful that you feel as though you’re miles from anywhere when you’re actually only 2km (a lovely walk!) from the town boundary. The cottage is incredibly well set up with everything you might need and Shona and Tony are fantastic hosts - friendly and helpful, and on hand if you need anything. «Great traditional bach dating to 1957. Everything we needed was there. No dishwasher but not really needed. My only gripe I kept banging my head on the low hanging name sign over the middle of the back door.»

«Plenty of room for 10 adults with lots of different spaces to hang out great entertainment with the table tennis, pool, spa and tennis court nicely presented and clean couple of issues were that the dryer was full of wet towels when we arrived, and the upstairs shower is very slow to drain so may need some attention»

«This house is located in a beautiful spot. You just walk through the garden to the beach. It is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. It is a very short walk to cafes, restaurants and a Four Square. We had walks on the beach and we also brought our bikes and explored the well maintained, easy cycle trail at the estuary. Highly recommend»

«The properties were both very clean and comfortable. Handy to the beach and quiet but also easy driving to the town. Google maps found them easily:-) Although we only stayed two nights and really only needed them to sleep in they were spacious enough to have a lovely family holiday. Shower was good and one of them had a bath.»

«* Great outdoor spaces for entertaining including a huge lawn for outdoor cricket or soccer. The rooms were spacious, with lovely bedding. The kitchen had everything you needed. Great selection of board games. * I loved the Christian sayings and cross in the house that made it special. The only downside was the blinds in the cottage weren’t full length so only went ¾ of the way down and did not cover the ranch sliders cross ways but other than that it was lovely!!»

«I liked the view. I didn't like anything else. I booked it at short notice for a two week stay and moved out after 3 nights. The back door only locked from the outside. There was only one other door - not good in an emergency. Two of us staying. 3 towels, 2 face cloths, 1 hand towel and 1 bathmat. I had to move my bed so I could shut my bedroom door. I had to ask for heaters to be supplied. There was no wifi. Lacking in any charm.»

«Friendly reception staff. Good location, well priced, well appointed and comfortable. Only thing that let it down were the very unpleasant stains on the seats. »

«Conveniently located within short walking distance of central Wellington. The hotel is surrounded by high buildings and the view from the hotel is mainly building facades, parking complexes and (sometimes noisy) logistics areas all around. Friendly service and just a short lift ride away from Lambton Quay. Well equipped for cooking and laundry. All in all, good value for the rent.»
