The room was good size but a bit dated, with a funky medicine smell...Quite steep staircase up to the room. The staff was friendly. No parking at the hotel, but there is a car park close by

I didn’t like the room as I felt it was too small and the bed was hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were too high and lumpy the duvet was comfortable and comfy and cosy and the sheets were soft but the mattress was hard and the bathroom was small I felt unsafe getting out of the bath after my shower as there weren’t any handrails on the wall to hold onto overall it was really bad

Lovely old coaching inn with bags of character
Very warm welcome from the staff on arrival and excellent breakfast and service. Two slight niggles — the room was far too hot and this is not good for the environment and the drains in sink/bath were very slow…

Nice staff but loads of stairs to room with no help with heavy bags and room very badly ventilated unless had window open which led to street noise. Expensive for what it is

Great Hotel
Wonderful hotel, great location, lovely, friendly staff, good sized rooms will full amenities. Have stayed there before and certainly will again - highly recommended

We had a pleasant welcome. The room was basic but had all we needed. The beds were comfortable and clean. The Antelope is ideally situated for all amenities. Would definatley use again

Fantastic Hotel & Staff
The rooms were amazing and the staff were really fantastic. There is a lovely bar that serves hot food there too. To top it off you are a few minutes walk fro Poole Harbour.

Stayed overnight with our dog before travelling to France. Excellent place to stay, good food and comfortable room. Only problem is weekends there is restricted parking on the road, but there are nearby car parks. Overall a great stay.

Pleasant hotel in a good location
The hotel was pleasant enough and in a good position close to the waterfront, and also in walking distance of the speedway stadium, which was the reason for my trip. The bed was comfortable, although all the pillows were very thick, too thick for me to sleep on so I would have preferred two thick and two thin. The water in the sink was warm although I failed to get the shower to be warm!

Great Hotel
Great hotel and location, ideal for a visit to Poole harbour. Friendly and helpful staff, nice bar and restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful Stay
A great location; in the old town and near the quay. Lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We only had breakfast in the mornings but the food was very good and my cheese omelette was excellent. The bedroom was very comfortable, although a little tired, but I slept well. One thing that did bother me was why the window was boxed in on the inside of the bedroom 4?? I know it is bricked up externally?? There was no parking on site but the ASDA carpark, about 800 yards away, gave cheap parking. About £9.50 for 48 hours.

The word I'd use is antiquated! It was like going back in time. Uncomfortable bed. The bar area was extremely rowdy with drunks bouncing off the walls. We couldn't wait to leave.

Lovely hotel
We loved the hotel. Perfect location near to the centre,station and harbour. Clean,comfortable and welcoming. Had a good nights sleep. Delicious breakfast. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

The only things that did'nt come up to scratch were the bed (small double) the bathroom (shower over bath) Other than that everything was fine. the staff were very helpful,friendly and accomodating.

Lovely hotel near the quay, great access to food and other activities. Only downside was no parking, however multi-storey 5 min walk away, expensive to park there though. Would definitely stay again.

Well situated within the socialising area.
Well situated hotel on the main socialising area with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. However the hotel is a pub/restaurant but needs attention in it decor which is a little tired. The outside space needs attention too and all the tables that were available needed cleaning and ashtrays emptying as all were full and over flowing. Although the hotel which is A Green King franchise and happily advertises that it supports “BlueCard” holders giving discount. This is not available on the hotel or for breakfast, only in its restaurant. If your going to support this card allow it’s use freely !!! Breakfast was very good value, but again, tables needed cleaning and clearing.
