«This property was AMAZING for my first summer getaway with two kiddos (8 & 10) and our bulldog. The very first night we quickly agreed we needed to stay here every year! The house is the PERFECT combination of charming 1800s peppered with modern updates. And TERRIFIC water pressure in all three showers! A true gem - clean AND comfortable (especially the bedding!), and the host was attentive to our every question along the way. Great proximity to all the sites - Ramunto’s for a delicious pizza ...

Our only situation we ran into was the entering info. Host did not answer my message asking that info. Miscommunication we found was reason it happened. After that settled we had a fantastic trip.»

«Peak Hill, is a lovely and very clean home, with a fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds. This home is exactly as the pictures that are shown. We had a very small issue with the door lock (battery), called and it was fixed right away, wonderful service. The owner, Geri, we had the opportunity to meet and she is very kind and a pleasure to speak with. We travel alot and l bring pretty much my own kitchen, pillow...... with me where ever l go. «We stayed for 3 nights in early Feb '24. Great location, nice neighborhood & property w/ comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well stock w/ plates/glassware. The place was clean - the kitchen floor could use a mopping. The firewood needs better protection, it's damp & doesn't maintain a burn. The back sliding door doesn't lock - a 2x4 is used instead. The major issue is the radiant floor heating isn't sufficient it takes too long to adjust. We were very uncomfortable & didn't get much sleep ...

«Great stay! House was large, clean and really functional. Hot tub was fantastic.My only suggestion is changing the key code to get in to the renters phone number. I locked myself out two minutes after getting there when the door swung shut. All my belongings (phone, car keys and dog) were in the house. Luckily the sliding door near the hot tub was open so I was able to get back in. Otherwise, great stay!»

«Light Hill is a beautiful property and the hosts are wonderful. We had a fantastic time there and our kids spent hours catching newts and frogs in the pond, swinging, and running around the yard. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch overlooking the mountains and just feeling very relaxed here. We are hoping to come back someday!»

«We had our crew of electricians stay at Dan & Holly’s home, and overall they had a great experience. The guys really enjoyed the hot tub, and the house had everything they needed during their stay.The only downside was that the listing mentioned there was AC, but unfortunately there was not. The crew ended up sharing a box fan, and since the windows didn’t have screens, they just made the best of it.
