«Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun.»

«This is an absolute haven of tranquility and you don’t expect a lodge like that while driving down the East coast of Raiatea. The garden is stunning and you can read about all the plants. «We had a dreamy stay at Pu'u O Hoku Ranch! We really enjoyed slowing down and enjoying each other's company in a beautiful setting. "Nice hotel. Family friendly, lots of kids. Some bad cleaning in the room (the downlights had brown spots on them in the bathroom, went away easily, didn’t try to remove it myself in case it was sh*t). Breakfast wasn’t included. I ordered included, but to my surprise the «package» was only for 2, not all 4 of the party, had to pay extra every day. The breakfast was good, but not varied - it was missing simple things like cheese and ham and other fillings, spreads and cold cuts. A lot of fresh fruit which was nice. Nice rooms and a lot of elevators. Polite staff. All in all a good hotel with a great location on Waikiki, with some improvement-areas. Lastly, there were no lifeguards on duty in the pool, and poolwater was never during our stay «fresh» and clear. Looked grumsy. "
