«This is an absolute haven of tranquility and you don’t expect a lodge like that while driving down the East coast of Raiatea. The garden is stunning and you can read about all the plants. By the small beach is a lily pond and the hillside is a jungle of the most amazing vegetation. "The hotel itself was beautiful, and the location was excellent. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were a major disappointment. At check-in, they didn’t take the time to explain the hotel’s facilities, amenities, or guest privileges. We weren’t given a hotel map or any useful information to help us enjoy our stay. We only found out two days later that hotel guests receive discounts on food and beverages—something that should have been explained during check-in. It’s frustrating to miss out on benefits simply because the staff failed to provide basic information. The property deserves much better service at the front desk."
