«The description for this place was quite misleading. We were lead to believe that we were renting a small house with a small kitchen but when we arrived it was a large house split into 5 different sections, all with their own renters. The “kitchen” was a microwave, mini fridge and a hot plate with only a pot. There was also no ac and it was miserably hot/humid in our section. «The property is beautiful, lush rainforest surrounded by tropical plants in a private setting just as described. Very clean and perfect for relaxation. Close enough to town but remote enough to enjoy the rain and frogs. The beds and shower are the best! We had a great time and would highly recommend this cabin. It was also nice to be able to do laundry onsite as we packed lightly.»

«I booked this property less than 24 hours before my arrival. The hist was very responsive and accommodating. The house is just as pictured. We got plenty of use out of the hammock out back. It was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioner in the master was nice, although with a nice breeze, it wasn't needed all night. Would definitely stay again. »

«This house is a good home base for exploring the Hilo area. The kitchen is unusually well set up for cooking, with a standard range, lots of dishes, and even food storage containers.
