great place near plitvice waterfalls
great authentic place, nice outdoor restaurant with player for children (bow and arrow, soccer goal, swings etc.), great service, fantastic authentic food (we had pig on the spit one night), highly recommended, remember to bring cash as thy dont take any cards

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Very close to the park entry. Unfortunately the place doesn’t provide the comfort it charges for. The water pressure and temperature varies randomly so you get ice cold or boiling hot water in the shower and sink, you can feel the springs in the mattress, the minibar has a loud never stopping fan, there was no room cleaning until we asked for it. The food in the restaurant (for lunch/dinner) was also very disappointing, but the breakfast was okay.

Stay was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. very good guidance in planning a day at the park. Their Internet service was not very effective. it would stop / break and slowdown at times.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, you can walk to the lakes/ waterfalls in about 15 minutes. The WiFi isn’t that great but it was not a major problem. We would recommend staying!

Etno Gardens - peaceful haven at Plitvice
The hotel is on the far side of Plitvice Lakes, a little bit further to get to but totally worth it as its far quieter than the main entrance area. You can access the park on foot from the hotel to P3 on the National park map. The hotel is made up of several buildings surrounded by well maintained gardens and is very peaceful, you can hear the birds chirping in the morning! The rooms have been recently refurbished to a good standard and are spacious, we had a junior suite which had ample room for the 4 of us, a fridge, microwave, sink and hob. The extra beds were 2 singles which my children were delighted with as they didn't have to share. The restaurant is a short walk away through the gardens and serves delicious local food, beer and wine. The staff are superb, (especially Erik and Vatroslav) they gave us excellent advise on how to experience the park avoiding the mass of day trippers and even collected our tickets for us. Nothing was too much trouble, our daughter turned 10 whilst we were there and they helped organise a cake for her! We stayed for 2 nights and would happily come back again to experience the hotel and area in a different season.

Need to replace restaurant staff
The reception desk staff was nice and professional, but the affiliated restaurant staff (even at etno house) was hopeless. Otherwise the hotel and rooms were great, and very good location.

멋진 자연과 함께 할수 있는 숙소
너무나 멋진 자연경관과 아침에 일어나면 상쾌한 공기와 도시에서는 보기힘든 깨끗한 아침이슬이 미소짓게 만들었습니다. 청결은 사람마다 다르겠지만 자연속에 있는걸 감안하면 깨끗한 수준인것 같습니다. 다만 추위를 느낄수도 있습니다. 플리트비체 H코스 이용에 최적화되어있는 숙소로 숙소에 머무르는 동안 차량이용이 필요없고 특히 남자아이가 있는 가족의 경우 축구골대가 있어 마음껏 뛰어놀수 있습니다. 운이 좋으면 조랑말과 같이 축구를 할수도 있구요

전원에 있는 아파트로 축구 및 놀이터를 포함해서 잘되어져 있고 가족들과 지내기에 시설은 깨끗하고 좋았으며 직원 역시 친절함. 플리트비체 배타는 공원 입구와 가까우며 호텔비는 카드가 아닌 현금으로만 받고 있으며 Wifi는 약함.

Great location.
Within walking distance to the park. Very friendly and most accommodating staff. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and very cozy. The breakfast and coffee which was an additional charge was quite nice. We also opted for dinner at the Etno gardens. The food was all very fresh, and it was nice to have the option after a long day of traveling.

Perfect Service and Location
First, I must rave about the service. Personal. Intimate. All out. Down to laying out the best approach to taking on the park. This place is perfect for a day in Plitvice Lakes park. You can walk directly from the property into the park with no hassles...I imagine it's easier than even being in the park, where you're subjected to large bus-tour groups. The hotel itself is charming. Comfortable apartment units suitable for any traveler or family. Great rates. Nice breakfast buffet and lovely outdoor dinner area.

Very spacious and clean "Cabin-like" hotel
Such a beautiful quaint spot for your to enjoy that "cabin-like feeling" while staying close to Plitvice Lakes. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend to stay here!

Good place next to one of the entrance to the park
Out visit here was great! Finding the place with car was easy and they have good parking! We were there earlier then the check in but we wanted to have a whole day at the park and this wasn't a problem at the reception. The guy who worked there was really nice, informed us about the park and showed us the best way around (and yeah, it was the best way around :))! The hotel is next to the entrance 3 to the park and that is perfect! This is not the main entrance and therefor we didn't have to wait long to buy tickets and go in to the park, even if there were a lot of tourist! The hotel offered a three meal dinner at the evening that was perfect! My friend is vegan but that was no problem, they could adjust. The apartment was really nice, clean and a lot of place. We had to go early next day so we didn't have time to try the breakfast but it looked good, it was a buffe :)

Pastoral perfection in Plitvice
Perfect location for exploring the national park. Just a short walk to one of the main entrances. Very friendly and helpful people at hotel- lovely peaceful location. Rooms are simple and very clean. Lovely breakfast. Thoroughly recommend- hope to return and stay longer next time.

Great place, great feel
You are here to be in some of the most beautiful nature you'll ever see. This place feels right in it. A goup of nice 2-3 unit houses, very amenable housekeeping unit, but meals are served outside by the fireplace. Best of all is the very kind, helpful staff. Walk to the Park. Only downside was the bedding was a tad hard

Such a lovely accommodation with the best staff. We were so comfortable and extremely well-located. The main lakes and waterfalls were only a short walk away.

Nous ne regrettons pas d'avoir choisi cet hôtel pour son emplacement. En effet très bien situé pour la visite du parc national dont l'entrée se trouve à une dizaine de minutes à pied. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. Les chambres sont bien équipés, simples mais spacieuses et propre. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, varié et bon. Le soir nous avons dîné sur place car pas beaucoup d'autres possibilité dans les environs mais cela a été un vrais régale pour un bon prix. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet hôtel et serions prêt à y séjourner à nouveau si passage dans la région.

Great welcome in a beautiful location
We stayed here for one night after a visit to the lakes. We arrived too early to get into the room, but were able to leave out car in the car park and walk to the park, which was amazing. There was a play area for children and there was a badminton net and archery set up. We had booked two superior double rooms, but were put together in a house of our own, with a kitchen and two bathrooms. We ate at the hotel - delicious vegetable soup, a hog roast served with beans and fried potatoes and kiwi tart for 20 euros. The only slight problem was that, although aware that the hotel does not accept credit cards, we had not realised that we had to pay for accomodation at the hotel, rather than through hotels.com. The GPS directions worked for us.

Great location for visiting park
This was a lovely place to stay. Although it was a bit tricky to find (not on the main road), we received excellent directions and found it easily. Pleasantly surprised to find that we were in easy walking distance to one of the lesser-known entrances to the park, which meant we got to avoid parking hassles and fees. (This entrance is not open in the off-season.) The kitchen area was very small without many supplies -- fine for doing your own breakfast or sandwiches, but don't expect to do much cooking. We ate in their restaurant both nights and enjoyed the food. Very generous portions!

Gepflegtes Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage (gegenüber den beiden Haupteingängen, daher Anreise per Auto sinnvoll). Nebeneingang in den Park und Boots-Anlegestelle sind zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Gepflegte und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, gut ausgestattetes Bad, alles sehr sauber. Reichhaltiges Frühstück (Abendessen haben wir aus Zeitgründen nicht probiert), sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal - was will man mehr?

La llegada es un poco confusa pero la ubicacion es perfecta para el recorrido del parque Lagos de Plitvice, se llega caminando a la entrada 3 y no hay necesidad de parquear, ni de hacer fila para las entradas, el servicio es inigualable, las habitaciones perfectas y la comida es tipica croata deliciosa, volveria sin dudarlo, nos encanto.

The hotel at the opposite side of main entrance 1 and entrance 2. There is no other restaurants or shops near there. You can either eat at hotel for dinner, or bring your food to cook yourself. Each room like an one bedroom apartment with living room and kitchen. The bathroom off living room, not connect with bedroom. It walk 6-7 min to the back entrance of park, and continue to walk another 8-9 min down to the boat launching site. You can walk at this side to the view point facing the high water fall at west side of park. No public transportation at this side of park. It is better to drive here. If you come to park by bus, it is better stay at main entrance side.

It appears better than it is...
The structure is very new and very well located in the middle of the natural park, but there are some major issues we had during our staying: - the shower in the bathroom is placed right undernead a plasterboard wall, which absorbed the water and resulted in malodorous mold - there is no wifi in the room. If you need to connect, the only available access is from the reception, where level is not even very high and there are always other guests which obviously need the connection - the sauna service is on reservation only, so make sure you book it in advance if you want to relax a little, even though the price for the level offered is not really worth it - the water had a bad smell in both the room and the sauna, probably there is a supply issue in the whole structure Overall, the price is way too high for the level of service offered. The structure is rated as a 4 star, but it offers barely what a 3-star level can give you. Not recommended.

Well located and quiet, rooms are good and clear. What we didn't like were the extras, like a very poor in food quality dinner, for which we were charged 20 Euro/person, excluding beverages. Furthermore, no indication in the booking confirmation the resort do not accept credit cards, but only cash payments. Last, but not least, no receipt....(!)

Great barbecue dinners, lovely friendly staff, clean rooms, very comfortable beds. Short walk to the lake (entrance 3). Only be warned that they do not accept credit cards.
