The PERFECT arrangement for those who wanted to beach and those who preferred the back porch. The beach was beautiful and the available chairs were an added bonus! We did all the offered events - cocktails & 1/2 price appetizers, s’mores and even kayaked - I cant begin to describe how unexpected this all was!! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so incredible!! As soon a we know schedules, we’re booking a return trip!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was clean - Killed one large cockroach while there. Love the location. Stove was very dirty and outdated. Good not Great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo B3312A had a terrible smell, we used 1 full size and 2 travel sized Air fresheners and still smelled foul. A bit stressful if you leave the island and inclement weather sets in , you may get stranded due to the water taxi stopping.

Great room with a view...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly, the only negative is the twin beds in the second bedroom were harder than the floor. I slept on the sofa... a bit pricey to share a sofa. Invest in better beds or warn adults that twins are rocks.

Return to Palm Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Started poorly as the beach villa (3311) we were assigned was not prepared to welcome 2 persons in 2 beds. The sofa bed was not fit for human use. However, we were transferred to a 2 bedroom unit next door (3312) which was much nicer and not charged for the upgrade.

Our Fifteenth year at Palm Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to this beautiful island now for 15 years. We always have had a first class experience and accommodations to match. This trip, we elected to stay in a superior rated unit but ended up with something far less. I don't know who rated this unit a superior but I think a second opinion is needed. We paid an additional 50 dollars a night for something I would consider sub par to even the standard units. The living room furniture was old, saggy and one of the recliners seemed like it was in need of repair. The hot and cold water was backwards at the kitchen sink. I can't believe this hasn't been brought to someones attention before now. The formica kitchen counter tops are sloppily patched in several locations. The bottom of the kitchen cabinet doors were all ragged and gross. The toilet roll holder about fell off the wall. The doorstops are about falling off the wall. The wallpaper is about falling off the wall! There is a leak under the kitchen sink that has obviously been going on way before we got there. We called the office about it and they said someone would be up to repair it right away. No one showed up the entire time we were there. No lights would turn on when you entered the bedroom. My wife fixed it by plugging the lamps into the switched outlets. Something so simple should already have been done before guests arrive. The creaking on the ceiling as the upstairs tenants walked around was unnerving. I can keep adding to the list but would hope this would be enough to warn anyone about this unit. On a positive note, the beach and golf carting was great!

Lovely Resort, Disappointing Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: PI Resort is a family favorite ... we've been vacationing there each year since 1987. Recently, I planned a very special mother-daughter trip and we had a wonderful time but the condo was very disappointing. The rental agent told me this unit had gone through a complete renovation recently and had a "superior" rating. Having high expecations, I was surprised when the laundry door fell off the tracks the first time we opened it, one of the kitchen cabinet doors was falling off the hinges, and the master bath toilet would only flush when we lifted the lid and manually flushed it. We called two days in a row to request that the toilet be fixed but maintenance was a "no show". I have stayed in lovely condos at PI Resort but this one was not ... I would rate it "inferior". We didn't let it spoil our overall PI Resort experience ... the condo was the only disappointing part of this special trip.

Private family getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the island and the natural setting. Exactly what I was hoping for. The staff could have been a little more friendly. Had a few employees who treated us like we were a bother. But also had exceptional service by Michael who was a bellman. Our particular room was clean and roomy. Loved the view. Could hear the people above us walking and talking, which seemed to begin at 7 am.

Marquez and Hill Stay Feb 2015

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was my understanding that we were booked into a renovated top level Villa. We traveled from NM to spend time with my girlfriend's parents. I must say that we much enjoyed our time at Palm Island, but regrettably it was "in spite of" the accommodations we were provided. Our unit had a dirty sandy wooden floor, was shabbily equipped kitchen wise, was not an upper end renovation, had little water pressure in the kitchen and hence the dishwasher did not work and dishes were cleaned by hand, and in general it was not worth the price paid.
