Well-appointed and comfortable apartment in great location. This apartment is very centrally located in shadyside and walkable to restaurants and groceries. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the apartment had basic supplies like coffee, tea, sugar, salt, and pepper, laundry detergent, body wash and shampoo. The parking in back is fairly accessible -1 particular spot is too small for an SUV, but the other spots were a decent size. I would definitely recommend it to others and hope to stay again in the future.

Property was clean & provided parking however the host has much to be desired. On day 2 of our stay there was an issue with the Smart Lock entry keypad & as a result we were locked out of the unit late that evening. I immediately messaged the host who did not respond so I called him an hour later & left a message. Two hours later, still no response from the host so I called VRBO. They too attempted to contact the host & were also unsuccessful. Aside from contacting the host there was nothing further VRBO could do to assist with the situation. Two hours and 45 minutes later the host finally replied to my message through the VRBO portal. He claimed to have change the code which didn't work and also "unlocked" it manually. The keypad remained blacked out and nonfunctional. He basically accused us of being at the wrong property and refused to call me. My husband then found a window directly next to the front door that was unlocked so he crawled through to open the door from the other side. After making it inside we check all of the windows to find them all unlocked. None of the locking mechanisms match up to be locked. I told the host how we entered the property, and he informed me that his "CCTV" did not show the same. Unbelievable, this was a first-floor unsecured unit. I have been renting through VRBO for 12 years and have never encountered such disregard and disrespect by a host as a guest. I would not recommend this host or property regardless of the "cheaper" rental costs.

Perfect for our purpose -- a 2 night stay in Pittsburgh helping our daughter move in. Very clean, reasonably priced, with all amenities as advertised. No problems. Great neighborhood.
