Quietly tucked at the far end of the farm, Rose cottage boasts peaceful, end-of-the-lane seclusion wrapped in generous outdoor spaces including a private courtyard garden, a large hot tub, & easy access to our very own meadow where children can run freely. Inside a spacious and sociable kitchen diner leads to a large living room with a dramatic open-hearth fire, perfect for cosying up with loved ones. Stylish ensuite bedrooms tucked into the rafters complete the serene Rose experience.

The space

Sumptuous Lounge:

Secluded from the kitchen and dining area, the generous lounge is a beautifully calm retreat. Framed by characterful exposed stone walls, the space invites you to sink into the oversized corner sofa, unwind beside the open fire and enjoy relaxed evenings in front of the Smart TV. French doors open directly onto the rear garden, seamlessly connecting indoor comfort with outdoor living — perfect for cosy nights and leisurely mornings alike.

Sociable Dining Area:

The open-plan kitchen dining area comfortably seats six guests and is designed for relaxed, communal dining. Whether you’re gathering for a takeaway supper or a lovingly prepared home-cooked meal, this welcoming space brings everyone together with ease.

Fully Equipped Shaker-Style Kitchen:

The stylish shaker-style kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, freestanding fridge/freezer and microwave. Well stocked with premium cookware, crockery and glassware, it caters effortlessly to both laid-back breakfasts and impressive evening meals. With hard flooring throughout the ground floor, Rose Cottage is also wonderfully practical for countryside stays — wet paws and muddy boots included.

Principal Bedroom with En-Suite Shower Room:

The beautifully appointed principal bedroom can be configured as either a king or twin room and benefits from a stylish en-suite shower room with contemporary fittings. Nestled within the character of the cottage, the en-suite offers comfort and privacy, with a slightly reduced ceiling height that reflects the building’s original charm.

Second Bedroom:

Bedroom two is equally inviting and can also be arranged as a king or twin. Located on the first floor within the eaves, it features gently sloping ceilings that add character and a cosy, cottage feel.

Twin Bedroom:

With lovely views across the surrounding fields, this charming bedroom features two full-size single beds. Each bed is fitted with its own recessed reading light, allowing for peaceful evenings and individual wind-down time. Like the other first-floor rooms, it sits within the eaves, offering characterful charm and a snug atmosphere.

Main Shower Room:

Bedrooms two and three share a well-appointed shower room, conveniently located on the first floor and designed to serve these rooms comfortably, in keeping with the cottage’s traditional layout.

Private Garden & Hot Tub:

Outside, Rose Cottage enjoys its own fully fenced, hardstanding garden — ideal for guests travelling with dogs. The standout feature is the generous square hot tub, comfortably seating six guests and beautifully illuminated by festoon lighting, creating an indulgent spot to unwind beneath the stars. Outdoor seating and a BBQ will be provided, perfect for relaxed evenings outdoors.

Dog-Friendly Escape

Rose Cottage is proudly dog-friendly. Alongside Jasmine and Honey Cottages, guests have access to the dedicated dog exercise field located beside the courtyard cottages — offering space for both dogs and owners to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh countryside air.

THE BARN – A Shared Space for Celebration & Connection:

Opening in late 2026, The Barn will become the social heart of the retreat — a striking, character-filled space designed for gathering, celebrating and creating unforgettable memories.

Beautifully rustic in design, the interior will be fully clad in sawn timber, creating warmth, texture and an authentic barn atmosphere. The natural wood finishes will give the space depth and richness, while its generous proportions ensure it feels both impressive and welcoming.

At its centre, guests will find a stylish bar, a spacious catering kitchen and a vast open main area complete with a large projector. Whether hosting a long, laughter-filled banquet, a milestone birthday, a lively disco evening, a cosy movie marathon or watching the cup final together, The Barn will adapt effortlessly to every occasion.

With seating for all 46 guests, the entire site can come together under one roof before retreating to the comfort and tranquillity of individual cottages at the end of the evening.

Available for exclusive guest hire, The Barn is designed to be as seamless as it is atmospheric. For those who prefer to relax and enjoy the celebration, outside caterers and bar services will be welcomed — allowing events to feel effortless, indulgent and beautifully hosted.

Outdoor Communal Areas:

Guests can enjoy a range of thoughtfully provided facilities located across the wider site. A charming communal library offers a quiet corner to borrow a book and pause awhile, while practical amenities include a hot and cold dog and cycle wash, a secure cycle store and overflow parking. Two on-site EV chargers provide convenient charging for electric vehicles. The central courtyard is thoughtfully divided into three separate fenced garden areas for the dog-friendly cottages, allowing guests travelling with dogs to enjoy their own secure outdoor space while still retaining the character of the shared courtyard setting.
