«We were 3 of only 5 people in the hotel so services were at a bare minimum, which sucked for us. The place looked fresh and new, which is hard to do as things age quickly in Vietnams climate. The room was delightful and comfortable. The bathroom was a wet room and well laid out. Don't sit on the side of the bath as it's held down and tipped up me which took a bit a work to rectify. «We were told at checkin that they had an electrical problem in our room and they had booked us a room at a nearby hotel. They arranged transport for us and our luggage both ways free of charge. It was not bad, but it didn't have the same standard as Splendid hotel. The following day we came back to an upgraded room at Splendid and we were both pleased with our stay here. All in all I think they handled the situation well and we would book Splendid again.»
