The Space:

PLEASE NOTE: The base rate includes access to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and covers up to 6 guests. Access to the Iceberg and Artist Loft is available for an additional fee, and an extra guest fee will apply for parties exceeding 6 guests.



The Cholla 64 is a private desert retreat featuring three unique spaces designed by artist Jeff Zischke and surrounded by sculptures, cactus gardens and creative outdoor areas. The main Zischke House offers three bedrooms, a full kitchen and art-filled indoor living spaces.



Two nearby studios provide flexible accommodations. The Iceberg is a bold, modern structure with an open layout, private soaking tub and direct access to the pool and grill. The Artist Loft overlooks the gardens with panoramic views, a king bed, soaking tub and cozy indoor seating.



Shared amenities include a pool, themed sculpture gardens, shaded patios and a seasonal vegetable garden. A central courtyard with a long dining table beneath a vine-covered pergola creates a welcoming space for outdoor meals. The layout balances privacy and community, ideal for families, groups or creative retreats.



Sleeping Arrangements & Guest Count

This unique property offers up to 5 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests, with access to additional spaces based on the number of guests in your reservation.

THE ZISCHKE HOUSE

The Zischke House is the main residence on the property. It includes three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and several indoor and outdoor areas for gathering. The interior is filled with original artwork, sculptural lighting and curated design elements throughout. The living and dining areas are open and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax or share a meal. One bedroom includes a king bed and a large walk-in closet with direct access to a private bathroom. The second and third bedrooms offer queen beds and simple, comfortable furnishings. The bathrooms feature modern fixtures, stone tile and creative touches that reflect the artistic character of the home.



THE ICEBERG

The Iceberg is a freestanding studio with bold architectural design and a strong modern feel. Its geometric exterior and crisp white surfaces give it a sculptural look that continues inside. The open interior features a comfortable bed, seating area, and original artwork throughout. Large windows and high ceilings add light and space, while polished floors and minimal furnishings create a clean, simple layout. The studio includes a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for light meals or snacks. The bathroom is modern and functional, with a walk-in shower and contemporary finishes. Just outside, guests can enjoy a private soaking tub and easy access to the pool area and shaded outdoor grille.



THE ARTIST LOFT

The Artist Loft is an upstairs studio tucked above the sculpture gardens with views across the property. Its open layout includes a king bed, a soaking tub placed within the main living space, a small seating area, and large windows that bring in natural light throughout the day. The space includes a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, making it easy to enjoy light meals or morning coffee on the private deck just outside. Interior details include original artwork, simple furnishings and a calm, uncluttered design that supports quiet time or creative work.

SAFETY & SECURITY

Although the workshop is not accessible to guests outside of the guided tour, there are dozens of metal sculptures throughout the property, so please take special care with young children.
