"During our recent stay at SAI Hotel in Phuket, we encountered a mixed experience that did not fully live up to our expectations for a 5-star hotel. From check-in to breakfast and the pool area, we found that the service did not meet the highest standard we were hoping for. The notable exception, however, was the pool area staff, who proved to be exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. The rooms at the hotel met our expectations, which was a welcome relief. They were well-appointed and offer the comfort and quality one would hope for. However, our biggest grievance during the stay was with the pool area, which tended to become fully booked very early in the morning. Guests reserving spots early make it difficult for others to find a place after 9:00 AM, which was disappointing. The breakfast, on the other hand, was comparable to what one might expect from an ordinary Radisson or another 4-star hotel, without any special or extraordinary features. The long queue for omelettes was a particular drawback, not only delaying access to food but also negatively impacting the overall experience. Considering the price and compared to other 5-star hotels we have visited, SAI Hotel in Phuket felt overpriced and more in line with what one might expect from a 3- to 4-star establishment, especially considering the level of service and amenities provided. If you are considering booking this hotel for its 5-star qualities, our advice would be to look at other options to get more value. "

"We arrived around 16:00 and our room wasn't ready. This was not good, as it is very warm and we are traveling with 3 kids. But as we sat and waited for our room to be ready, they came and told us they had a room ready, and upgraded our room to a big villa with private pool. The staff was very service minded and polite. And the villa was super nice. The kids loved it. The resort is HUGE, but very nice and clean."

"Vi fikk 2 rom i den eldste delen ved resepsjonen, i 2 etg. Store greie rom, men det luktet ille mugg. Vi sa ifra, men di hadde ingen forståelse for det. Alt tøy luktet i løpet av kort tid og vi våknet med hodepine hver morgen. Skikkelig ille mugg lukt i hele bygningen. Tror nok di nyere bygningene var bedre ."
