«100% attractively and thoughtfully renovated, only evidence of house’s age was stairs to bedrooms that are a bit steep and ceiling a bit low at top for 6’2” husband. We are 70 and it worked fine. Spotless new bathrooms and comfortable beds. The location 2 blocks from bike path was perfect. Convenient location,about 10 minutes to skiing, beach, and downtown Petoskey.»

«Our family of five stayed for a ski weekend. It was the perfect place for our stay. Close to both ski hills we visited. We love the city of Petoskey, but don’t have time to visit. The host was amazing about letting us check in early and our kids loved the Petoskey stone keepsakes of the trip. The layout of the home was unique, but it added to its charm. The checkout procedures were minimal and the kitchen was well stocked. We are truly looking forward to staying again next year. Thanks!!»

«I stayed 3 nights at the Northern Nest, and it was stellarly clean, comfy and peaceful.. even with a couple of comic relief supplied by a couple of dogs who stopped by to visit every day. :) All the comforts of home, just in a smaller package! I'll stay again.»

«This house is perfect in everyway! The hosts have thought of every detail and were very easy to communicate with. The house is beautifully decorated and the view of the woods out back is stunning and peaceful. There were deer out back. There was a dining table perfect for large family dinners and the home was stocked with every necessity. The beds/linens were very comfortable. «We have spent several summer vacations staying in the Marina Suite. It feels like home away from home to my husband & I, as well as our standard poodle. The downtown location simply can't be beat. Shopping, beaches, restaurants, concerts in the park, glorious sunsets are all within walking distance. We highly recommend - and will certainly be back next summer!»

«It was great for our group. 3 separate sleeping areas we used, room for more. Only downside is steep driveway made parking difficult and steep/long stairs into home. Very nice furnishings.»
