«We arrived in this shabby old hotel. The lobby smelled of sigarettes, and spider nets in the ceiling. We had upgraded to the executive suite and the room was terrible. A dirty old rug on the floor, long black hair in the floor in the bathroom. The toilet and the sink had not been cleaned at all. No covers on the bed, only a fleece blanket that could cover the legs. And as of the cleanness of the rest of the room, we didn’t take the chance on using the blanket at all. Slept with our clothes on. ...

«It was quite dissapointing that we were late for check-in, but there was not anyone from hotel staff that would have contacted us to keep in the touch. In fact, when we were about an hour journey to arrive at the hotel, the receptionist called to let us know that she'll be out of shift soon and will just leave the room key by the reception counter. I find this very rude as a customer to be treated this way. The hotel management itself should have a replacement staff for the shift changing time ...

The staff is friendly, however sometimes seem a bit distant and not observant, but all in all, the service is very good. We went in beginning-middle of March, and the island is just starting to open, so the activities are a bit limited, especially if you go to Long beach (opposite side of the island from the hotel). The weather was also more rough on the other side, but on the hotel-side it was amazing. So, if you are going during the shoulder season, this hotel seems to be perfect!"
