«The Mountain Hideaway was the best part of our vacation. The home is clean and beautiful. Very quiet country area with lots of room. The address was confusing our gps. We found our host by accident and he assisted us to find the property. I would suggest that all vrbo hosts send their phone number in advance directly to clients several days in advance of their stay. I very much look forward to staying there again.»

«There are definitely some issues going on with this rental. The bathroom fills with a scent of raw sewage if you keep the door closed like we did to keep our dog out. You couldn’t even breathe in there with the window opened. I failed to read all of the reviews before I booked it and it seems like I’m not the first person who has had this problem. «Our trip was such a great experience! Our host was very informative! The place comes with pretty much everything you need! Very clean and nostalgic to “ simpler times”. Very close to the river where we caught some fish. Bedding was clean and so was other furniture. «Everything was amazing. It was very cozy for the 3 of us. I loved the couches and the beds were very comfy. I sleep hot so the light blanket was nice but would recommend bringing extra blankets if you get cold at night.The shower in the big bathroom was a little confusing but we figured it out just pull the bath nozzle. Very nice location easy to get to and easy to find and get back on the interstate.»

«Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!»

«This place was perfectly suited for my family (ages 29 to 88)! The wraparound porch and views were our favorite part, but we also enjoyed the fire pit, the game room, and the big open feel of the living/dining room with lots of natural light.
