Six Senses Uluwatu really needs maintenance and upgrading! We stayed in a 3 bedroom pool villa and the interior was not good! Why not hire an interior decorator? It was like someone just put in the furniture that was available, nowhere to put your belongings when entering the villa, no dinner table on the terrace. The circulation of the pool was not working. The main restaurant was under construction and the workers banged and sawed until 11 pm at night. The personnel at the reception were confused and did not know much about the amenities of the hotel. The hotel is run down and needs upgrading but the main pool area is nice and the staff around the pool and bar are wonderful, the spa is nice and gym ok. Will not go back

Great Location & Employees, Trainwreck Experience
Honestly feel sorry writing a bad review because the employees were all very friendly but the stay was one of the more bizarre experiences I've had. The resort/rooms were overall tired and worn for a 5 star hotel. There was construction taking place all over the resort until 10p each night. Called the front desk several times to see if they could stop the hammering and stone sawing taking place outside our room but was unsuccessful. The main restaurant was being renovated and the noise from construction made sitting by the pool or outside bar a nonstarter. There were also 2 weddings place on the property during our stay which added to the clamor - (one of which included an unannounced fireworks show which felt like they were being set off right outside our villa). All of this would've been fine if we had been given any notification of the construction/weddings BEFORE flying 20 hours to get there. Hotels.com did refund one night but they couldn't get through to the hotel to assist with any of the other issues. Hotel sits on a beautiful location but the experience was a trainwreck.

Honeymoon heaven
We came here for our honeymoon and had the most incredible time. This place is heaven. The hotel is beautiful, the facilities are wonderful and the hotel staff were the best part of the stay. Highly recommend.

AVOID! I just left Six Senses and was very disappointed with my stay. When we first arrived to our room (one bedroom cliff villa) - we thought it was very nice. We quickly realized that was not true. Mini bar/fridge was empty (I have never seen this before at a 5 star hotel). When I asked the manager they said it is only filled upon request (strange). No milk or creamer provided, again had to ask for it to be brought to the room. Went to make a coffee, ants crawling all over the coffee pods. Went to use the bathroom and immediately noticed a strong smell of sewage. Then we started looking closer at the room and realized how poorly maintained it is - literally falling apart. The room has been severely damaged by water and there was evidence of mold all over the room. Went to take a shower - the State of the shower is very run down and disgusting, and no hot water! I dreaded having to take a shower in there. On our last day, the shower stopped draining properly and water got everywhere in the bathroom. Truly awful. The hotel is extremely run down and needs to be rectified immediately. I would never stay here again and would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a 2 star hotel with a 5 star view. The only positives of this place were the view, the friendly and kind staff and the fitness centre was well equipped. All in all, I would recommend that everyone avoid this hotel at all costs. Way too expensive - not just for Bali standards but international standards as well.

So so
When i just reached the room, i got bitten a lot by mosquitoes while i was sitting down at the balcony. So probably they should make sure it really cleaned and spray some mosquitoes repellent before guest check in. The private swimming pool has some dirt in it, (not leaves). The bed very comfortable to sleep in. Aircon works well. Very quiet too. Breakfast not very good compare with other cheaper 5* hotels. Overall, I’m not so sure if it’s actually worth the price.

Searching 80$ experience you will pay 700$ for?
One of the worse stays of my life, I am a very frequentl traveler of 5 star hotels - six senses Bali gets the looser crown. Dirty bathrooms, cheap and cold interior and furniture. Peeling wall paint with wrong tone paint patches, underground public parking terrace design, dirty window glass, molding building and interior. Broken TV that switches off every 5 minutes and the best of all keeps switching on and off for the rest of the night on own ghostly devices. Restaurant visit deserves an separate chapter: ordered the most expensive item - 750.000++ steak "a marvel of a dish according to the menu" dry, cold, spoiled meat. Wife orders barramundi and also let it back on the table as undercooked and smelly. Restaurant terrace is getting waves of broken sewage pipe stick every other minute - deluxe 5 star atmosphere... Going back to the rooom and ordering 2 pieces of cake to sweeten the hungry night ahead, get a warning fr the kitchen that it will take 20-30 minutes to deliver my order. 2 hours later still no food delivered, call the reception " sorry the kitchen is already closed" ... Please stay clear of this property

I went to three hotels in Bali, and this hotel was the most luxurious hotel. Literally, we stayed for three days without leaving the hotel. It’s mostly for relaxation, but still there are many activities you can do such as movie theater, free ice cream, spa, swimming pool, and so on. They grow their own vegetables, and if I’m not mistaken, they give you free tour around it. Staff are nice!! Literally smiling everywhere, every time. Clean rooms! No insects! No bugs! The view is gorgeous because the hotel is by the cliff. I totally recommend it to everybody! It was our honeymoon, and we enjoyed it!!
