«We had a fantastic stay at Surfside! Peter was a stellar host…welcoming, friendly, very knowledgeable. We highly recommend booking tours with him. «Stayed four nights. Lovely setting in the rain forest. The Cabin (turtle lodge, comfort bungalow) felt private. Sounds of the wildlife, wonderful. Nice deck overlooking the property. The manager Zayro was very friendly (along with the other staff) and helpful organising a tour into the Corcovado National Park. Room was much smaller than I expected (had to put my case in the bathroom) with a very basic kitchen, utensils and crockery (things such as a plug for the sink, a sharp knife, fish slice, ...

«I want to start by saying that my wife and I very much enjoyed our 7 day stay. With that said it's web site states that it is the only luxury resort on the beach which in our opinion is stretching the word luxury a bit. To us its luxury is not in the facility, which is a bit rustic, but rather the natural setting that surrounds it. «If you want to be right in the middle of nature and wildlife this is the place to go. Most of the resort is raised up into the treetops so you can be eye level with creatures you'd usually only see way above you from the ground. The included hikes and birdwatching were wonderful with very knowledgeable and passionate guides.
