I am sorry Pullmann, I so wanted to publish a great review! We had a good stay, the location is perfect and rooms are a decent size and clean.
But when you claim to be a 5-star hotel we get extremely disappointed. The entire hotel is so worn and old - and the rooms are definitely NOT 5-star hotel rooms. So outdated, but we can definitely see that this was a fancy hotel 15 years ago.
Also - we were so sad to visit the breakfast restaurant - we just left, and didn't come back for the next days. There were so many people - the food area and food looked like a plane crash! Maybe you should learn from European hotels in this covid times - and have hotel guests book a time slot for breakfast. Or learn by other, not 5 star hotels, in thailand - and offer some kind of alacart breakfast to avoid crowded areas.
The lack of control during breakfast is very surprising, claiming to be both a 5 star hotel AND a SHA plus member.
The good things I have to say is that we had a great time by the pool area, and the staff in the beach club was fantastic! And GREAT food from the beach club restaurant.
We probably won't stay at this hotel again, but we will definitely visit the Beach Club again next time.
