«Absolutely incredible stay from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff really look after you. James our guide for the 3 days we were there was great. The food is so nice and there is lots of it! We really couldn’t fault any of it! Thank you all at Founders Andrew & Nicola»

«Everything was perfect!»

«A great stay at the Lodge. Everything was perfect the 2 days we stayed at the lodge. The accommodations are great, and the game drive was top notch. We saw all the great 5, and the ranger where very knowledgeable. Food and other services was really first class as well. Would highly recommend a stay at this lodge both for the safari and the accommodations»

«Amazing surroundings! Its a hard for a 76 year old to work from a suitcase on the floor »

«Our stay at Quatermain’s was one of the highlights of our three-week trip through South Africa. Julie was incredibly accommodating and made every request feel easy. Jess and Kyle were excellent game-drive guides—engaging, attentive and clearly passionate about what they do. Nick’s warm hospitality made us feel completely at home, while Riaan’s incredible knowledge brought every part of the walking safari to life. The camp’s thoughtful comforts were equally memorable. The hot-water bottles ...

«Too expensive for the value. The roof is not tight when it rains. »

«There is no better safari geared up for families in the world. We had the best time ever as did our seven year old daughter, and the staff couldn’t have done any more for us. This place is THE gold standard in luxury safaris and Riverdene ensured it worked for children too without compromising quality for adults too. Cannot recommend highly enough and thanks so much to all the team! »

«Staff and guides were all excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the drives. Lodge and food also excellent and we met some fantastic people, however we very very disappointed with our accommodation. We had expected an individual lodge in a private and peaceful setting however we were situated in a lodge attached to another lodge just above the main lodge and kitchen block. So we could constantly hear noise of the kitchen preparations, plates and bins being emptied and staff singing and talking rather ...

«Quirky little place to stay with a wide range of room options. Self catering cabins, dung beetle suites, or chalets are on option. I expected the ding beetle suites to be a room in a larger building. Instead was a self contained quonset hut style accomodation. Had a shower ,toilet, fridge inside, so was quite serviceable. However for a long stay such as ours the chalet was much more comfortable. Thanks to Henry for recognition and upgrading us without prompting. Breakfast was fantastics.  ...

«Nice people, nice accomodation, delicious food, good conversation in advance and during our stay. We felt more than welcome. Thx for upgrading us to the very nice family rondel, not only our kids appreciate this :) We loved your turndown service in the evening which makes our "home" cozy for the nights. Please book Wandela, a sympathic and experienced guide for a gamedrive in Addo Nationalpark at the Reception. We had a wonderful day with him, only we 4 in one car, the full day game drive ...

«The room was amazing and the staff are super knowledgeable and friendly! We would stay here again! We were able to see all of the animals on our first game drive and that made the trip! Thank you again for making our vacation so memorable!»

«We have never stayed anywhere quite like it. Absolute luxury, complemented by the most attentive, courteous and professional staff we have ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel truly special and cared for in the most extraordinary way. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was simply exceptional, with world-class cuisine worthy of a top chef, whether it was breakfast, lunch, high tea or dinner. Every meal was an ...

«Exceptional stay at Camp Figtree - the staff were absolutely outstanding and there was nothing that wasn't anticipated. Meals were superb, game drives were wonderful, nature walk was tremendous, and simply lying around the pool was amazing. Everything was out of this world.»
