«We truely enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The ladies at the reception desk were very sweet and helpful. Our studio apartment was nice, spacious, and well equipped. Pool and exercise room was basic, clean, and well kept. Walking distance from city center. Breakfast however, was horrible. Very few healthy choices, egg powder products and dry sausage. No fruit or whole grain. Overall a nice hotel, well worth the price. However, you might want to plan breakfast at one of the cozy nearby cafes. »

Yet it still had an issue I would not expect in light of the overall quality of the establishment: the bathroom sink didn't drain. «Very neat and beautiful in an older setting»

«Parking is very convenient in a crowded part of the city with limited parking. It's free and in the basement. Not a lover of the decor, but that's a personal choice and has nothing to do with the overall function of the hotel. My biggest complaint is the odd choice of their room doors. They are extremely heavy and have a spring action shut to them that makes them slam automatically, causing a huge "bang" all through the hall even if you try to close the door quietly. Not sure why it has to be so ...

«Breakfast was limited but good enough. The room smelled bad probably from the dirty carpet. The sink was not draining at first but the staff attended to it immediately. There were enough parking spaces. »

«A great new hotel for those visiting UVA. While not in the heart of the Corner, it’s still close to Grounds. The Perch, the rooftop bar, was by far our favorite! »

«no door between the bathroom sink and the bedroom. the sheets were too big and kept on folding. the comforter / duvet was very thin and did not have a proper cover, just loose sheets over and under. Very uncomfortable, and cold. Certainly not first class bed linen as advertised. For breakfast, the eggs were sometimes mixed with meat and onions. I am allergic to onions and asked if it was possible to get gets without onions, but was told this was not possible.»

«Room was modern, clean and very well maintained. Beds were comfortable. We were located on the entrance side of the property, which was away from the main road so it was quiet.
