«The Annex was a peaceful location with views across the hills. It’s a convenient location for the Eden Project and the beaches around St Austell. The annex is a good base and has a home from home feel. John the host is very friendly and welcoming.»

«Really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Lights. Amazing location overlooking the beach and harbour.
Our favourite thing was to take the short walk down to the beach, swim in the sea and then back to the hot tub... magical!
Also enjoyed the short stroll into Charlestown to the Pier House and many restaurants around the harbour (Charlestown Fish, Dough Buoys, HBQ are all good).
Then there is the Coastal Path which goes from outside the property. Going east up the hill is a great walk, but going west ...

«one of the best self catering i have stayed at on the outskirts of Bodmin for a Winter break this is an ideal please for touring Cornwall, for anyone wanting to set up base to sea fish or fishing in general i have one minor gripe No central heating in the property, but there are electric radiators and extra blow heaters There is a log burner that does kick out a lot of warmth, for the very cold nights, I will return later in the year»

«This cottage is honestly the most accessible we have found, spacious & clean with lovely furnishings, soft fluffy towels & bed linen - so it feels like a proper holiday cottage, not a hospital!
Location is excellent too, just minutes from Perranporth ( with pharmacy!) & a superb londis shop down the road at Goonhaven»

"Et fint hotell, men åpenbart forbedringspotensiale på flere ting. Verandaen på rommet kunne trengt et strøk med olje/beis, det var tomt for håndsåpe på badet, ba om påfyll, skjedde ikke, rommet vårt ble ikke rengjort før 15:30 dagen etter ankomst. Småting gjennom hele oppholdet altså, men i sum blir det irriterende og trekker ned antall stjerner. Spaet var bra, men la merke til at malingen flasset av enkelte steder i herregarderoben. Bassengene og badstuene var veldig bra! Prøvde ingen behandlinger eller treningsrommet. Spiste også i restauranten en kveld. Helt greit. Blåskjellene og fiske-curryen var bra, hjorten helt grei, men litt smakløs og tørr. Andeconfiten var ikke bra. Tørr og ganske smakløs den også, mistenker at det ikke var første gang den var varmet opp. Er jo en type kjøtt som er vanskelig å få tørt/seigt… Servitøren som var mest ved vårt bord, hadde generelt lite kunnskap om både maten og drikken på menyen. Spesielt kunnskapen om vinen var lik null. Frokosten var bra, men litt lite utvalg på den kontinentale frokosten. Pålegget besto kun av syltetøy, honning og marmait(?). Sto på menyen at vi kunne bestille ost og skinke. Da vi gjorde det fikk vi beskjed om det kun var hvis de hadde grupper til frokost. Merkelig. Men servitøren ordnet likevel, bra! Servicen er helt ok, men flere av de ansatte virket uinteresserte og litt unnvikende. Men enkelte sto frem som blide, imøtekommende og serviceinnstilte. De fortjener skryt, og kan kanskje «coache» resten 😉"
