The worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Upon arrival, there was a line out the lobby door waiting to check in. Some customers had been there an hour and a half or more and were told that the staff was getting their rooms ready still due to being short staffed. Mind you, it was 8:30 at night at this point. After waiting for an hour with no further information from the staff, they finally came out of hiding to inform the lobby full of people that they had given all of our rooms away to other guests. We had the reservation booked at least a month and a half in advance. How do you give that many reservations away?!? The majority of the customers in the lobby were there for a soccer tournament that weekend so probably 20 or more families were left scrambling to find another hotel for their kids to sleep somewhere that night. Absolute chaos! I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re considering Fairfield Inn.
