We had a great overall stay at this property. The house itself was amazing—clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable trip, and we were really impressed with the space and setup.Unfortunately, our experience with the property management fell short. The hot tub stopped working on the first night of our stay. When we contacted management, they told us they would open a work order and send someone out, and advised us to continue with our plans while they used a temporary access code to make repairs while we were out.However, when we returned the following day after being at the beach all day, it was clear the hot tub had not been serviced. After reaching out again, we were then informed it would be 7–10 business days before anyone could come out to fix it.We completely understand that issues can arise that are outside of anyone’s control. With that in mind, we simply asked if they could turn on the pool heater at no additional charge since the pool was too cold to use this time of year and the hot tub—an amenity we were really looking forward to—was unavailable. Unfortunately, that request was denied unless we paid the full surcharge of 100 per night. The response felt dismissive and lacked any real effort to make the situation right.Because of the poor handling of this issue by property management, we are rating the property 4 stars instead of 5.
