Vandrerhjem i Pacific States

Diablo Lake is a reservoir in the North Cascade mountains of northern Washington state, United States. Created by Diablo Dam, the lake is located between Ross Lake and Gorge Lake on the Skagit River at an elevation of 1,201 feet (366 m) above sea level.
The unique, intense turquoise hue of the lake's water is attributed to the surrounding glaciers that grind rocks into a fine powder that is carried into the lake through creeks. That fine powder stays suspended in the lake, giving the water its brilliant color. #nationalpark #roadtrip

«This is a rip-off. We ordered De-lux room and we got a room with two bunk beds that sleeps 8 people. It lacked paper for the toialett. The public rooms were dirty and dusty and the windows had not been washed in a reasonable time. The owner was a little thoughtful and gave no information on how it all worked. «Lesson learned. Booked a 2 night stay for 4 of us. We checked in and although I booked a 4 bed private room they set us up in a 3 bed room. Our 4th person ended up not being able to make it so that worked out. But we did pay for the larger room despite not receiving one. In addition the whole house was completely trashed, fridge full to the brim with items and a rancid stench. We couldn’t use any of the communal space at all and we’re pretty much ostracized to our room only. I assume because ...
