Ample outdoor space: Two decks. Two completely different experiences. Out front, a wind-sheltered deck faces the Nestucca River estuary and the coastal mountains — herb garden and large BBQ at the ready for long, unhurried evenings. It stays calm and warm even when the coast is howling — the spot for slow mornings with coffee, or long evenings with a glass of wine while the light fades against the hills. Out back, the ocean-facing deck opens straight to the Pacific. Sofas and lounge chairs face the water, and additional Adirondack chairs sit right on the edge of the bluff. Sunsets here are ridiculous.

Layout: The split-level layout is ideal for two families or a full group. Upstairs: an open-plan well-stocked chef's kitchen, living room, and dining area bathed in ocean light, a primary oceanview suite with full bath, and a half bath off of the kitchen/living space. Downstairs: a den with large TV, a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a fourth bedroom with two queens and ensuite, and an additional full bath off of the living room. Garage with laundry facilities rounding things out. Lounge and dining seating accommodate 8–10 people.
The garage doubles as a hangout with a ping pong table and extra lounge seating.

Location: Sunset Drive is a quiet street tucked between the Nestucca River and the ocean, leading directly into Bob Straub State Park. The Boat Landing nearby is one of the best fishing holes in the area — prime Chinook Salmon territory in spring and fall. Cape Kiwanda's sand dunes, Pelican Brewing, and dory launches are minutes away.

Please note: the beach is directly in front of the home, but the dune shifts throughout the year and access can be steep. Easy beach access is a short walk at the Turnaround or Bob Straub State Park. This home is a great fit for families with older kids — toddler amenities are not provided.

Cancellation Policy:
1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 14 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Occupancy Note:
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.
