«As a traveler from USA, and my Japanese being rudimentary at best, the owner of this location was immensely helpful and kind to be very communicative and checking that I accessed the house. It is a big beautiful home, and I wished I stayed more than just one night. I would definitely visit again, and again go for a walk to The Munch for extravagant coffee. «We stayed here so we were close to the start of the Koyasan Choishi Michi pilgrim trek. the owner picked us up from the Kudoyama station and then insisted on taking us to a supermarket to get provisions and finally to a restaurant. he was extremely friendly and accomodating. the place itself was spaceous, clean and well set up. the views over the valley were beautiful. highly recommended»

«I was such a beautiful place to stay! There was plenty of room, and plenty of pillows - rare in Japan! The decoration was very tasteful and welcoming. Staircase was a little narrow, but this is common in Japan and not a fault of the owner. There was only one toilet, which worked fine for our family of 4. Location was fabulous - easily walkable to Nara Park and the train station, and right on a busy walking street full of shopping and food, yet still quiet enough to rest at night. My only ...
