«Great location for us to use as a base camp to go explore Alexandria and DC. It was an easy walk to the metro station, the Potomac and grocery stores. We’d stay there again if we head back to the area. Thanks for having us.»

«The place was great. 10 minute walk to Metro, Chewish deli next door is a great, easy breakfast. Parking wasn't difficult (if you can parallel park), even with 5-6 spaces closed due to construction. I would bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. A lot of windows high up that don't have blinds/curtains, and it can get bright in the morning. »

«The Lafeyette House is conveniently located near King Street and the waterfront to enjoy all the activities Old Town Alexandria has to offer. The house is very comfortable with covered parking available directly across the street. I especially enjoyed easy access to the Mount Vernon walking and biking trail.»

«This two bedroom house was the perfect little retreat for us and our son and his wife. It's located in a beautiful, tree lined neighborhood within walking distance of our daughter's house, where we were visiting. We watched many a World Cup soccer game comfortably on the large TV in the living room.»

«The property is nice and updated, looks just like the pictures. The backyard is a great retreat! The 2 private parking spaces made it comfortable to come and go. The beds are comfortable and plenty of towels and convenience items (shampoo, trash bags, etc). The hosts were accessible during the stay, but we didn’t need them. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay near DC, this place in a nice quiet neighborhood is a perfect choice.»

«Location is amazing. Close to metro and Old Town and Trader Joe's!»

«The property was beautiful, in pristine condition, walking distance to points of interest but just far enough away to be incredibly peaceful and quiet. Neighbors and whole neighborhood quiet and extremely pleasant and trees were beautiful. I would gladly stay again. I highly recommend Renee's beautiful home. Oh and there is a private parking spot right in front of the house.»

«This townhouse is lovely and walkable to the shops and restaurants of Old Town Alexandria and the metro stops. The two parking spots behind the townhouse are most helpful. The host is super responsive and helpful with suggestions. »

«The location was excellent — very convenient for walking to restaurants, shops, and everything Old Town has to offer. The property itself was comfortable and a great home base for exploring the area. The main downside was the noise. The bed room facing the busy street was quite loud, especially at night and early in the morning , and it made it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. The bedroom on the back of the house is much quieter but since we were a ...
