It's a great place overall: good staff and a good location. There is a big lack of pedestrian access to the hotel so do expect to use a bit of money on transport by cab or bus. The cleanliness of this place was superb except for the shower. The shower was rusty and overall didn't feel all too clean, so if you're a germaphobe you won't be using the shower/bath which comes with your room. Facilities: the restaurant/bar on the ground floor is good. There is a gym too somewhere in the hotel but I never had a use for it so I didn't go looking for it Overall: 7/10 it would be a 9/10 if there were more sidewalks for pedestrian access. Nice hotell
Especially friendly, serviceminded staff. Nice hotel. Quiet even though near traffic. A little distance to centre of Oxford, but shuttle bus close and ample free parking

Hotellet var i for seg greit nok. Så rent og ryddig ut.Ikke toalett børste på rommene. Frokosten var heller dårlig, tørr ost, tørt pålegg(dette på grunn av at det lå uten tildekkning). Stekte egg som lå å fløt i olje. Ellers mere som english breakfast en continental. Ikke gratis wi-fi på hotellet Betjeningen var hyggelig og blide.

Holiday Inn Oxford
We stayed at the Oxford Holiday Inn over the Christmas period. The hotelstaff were always corteous and serviceminded and the hotelroom was clean and comfortable. Can be recommended for Your stay in Oxford.

Polite and helpful staff. Clean, easy to park. Resteraunt staff let the side down. Served by 3 different people who got the order for dinner completely muddled. Resulted in food arriving at different times, being sent back and then reappearing hot but dried out. Some of the meal was excellent but some was a disaster. The Manager did his best to put things right. But the experience was not good.

This is a nice hotel but it is removed from the center of Oxford University, so is a bus or taxi ride away. It is nice hotel, very clean and the breakfast buffet is fantastic. I sat in the lounge one late evening working and had the opportunity to observe the Deskman, Paul. He was the kindest, most accomodating person I have seen in such a position in a long time. Amazing person.

Great location for the park and ride into Oxford, even though it’s right next to a busy motorway it’s very quiet the rooms are spacious and the staff very friendly. Overall great experience.

The Staff at this property was beyond helpful and courteous. The breakfast was tasty and had many healthy food options. There were many options to choose from the breakfast buffet menu. The servers were friendly and responsive to the needs of the patrons. The dining facility was well-maintained.

Disappointing
Arrived at 1.30am as had been working. Waited 15 mins at reception for someone to come out and book me in. Night porter would not serve us a drink unless we paid a room service charge although we were in the bar area. Could not decide if we needed to pay for parking, did not take a payment but in the morning I was told I may or may notvget a fine. Nice hotel spoilt by rude useless staff.

Very nice staff. Nicer hotel than lot of the holiday inn we stayed in the past. Super clean, new room and good size. Restaurant was very nice for dinner and breakfast also very good !

I recently visited the Holiday Inn Oxford hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel was clean and provided a peaceful atmosphere, which was appreciated. However, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. Firstly, during check-in, I found the front desk staff to be lacking in sincerity, which affected the overall impression of the service. Additionally, the room I stayed in was quite dark, and when I requested an extra lamp to brighten up the space, I was informed that it wasn't possible. This was disappointing as it hindered the comfort of the room. Lastly, there was a discrepancy with the parking fee. The staff quoted a price of £40 (I had no choice to paid), whereas in your Expedia website mentioned a fee of only £6 at the time of booking. This inconsistency was frustrating and should be addressed for better customer satisfaction.

It was a great experience staying at the hotel.the receptionist was great given us a great information.and the breakfast staff they were amazing and with my daughter they were great i was very pleased and happy.i will come back again at this hotel l.i would recommend staying at holiday inn at Oxford.
