Good size room and a comfortable bed. No safety box in the room as promised, only two small bottles of water included for the entire stay, hardly any waterpressure in the bathroom sink, but the shower was ok. No housekeeping unless you ask for it. Really poor breakfast; coffee tasted like instant, juices were horrible, yellow tasteless cheese, not particularly good ham, youghurt was good, only option for bread was toast. Our room was GBP 390 for two nights and I had expected a little more. Staff were friendly.

Fint familiehotell
Kjempehyggelig hotell med vennlig og hjelpsomme ansatte. Rolige omgivelser og god frokost, vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Fint hotell
Vi bodde her kun én natt, men hotellet hadde en fin beliggenhet med både gangavstand til sentrum og gode parkeringsmuligheter. Rommene var ellers rene og pene, og frokosten var også meget bra.

Classic hotel within one mile of Oxford center. Walking distance to the various colleges, punting, and the castle. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful heritage hotel. Breakfast was excellent value and selection. Walkable to city centre and also on major transportation routes, including the hop on hop off bus ( very convenient). There is no elevator, which the hotel was clear about but the Expedia site got wrong. The heritage rooms are worth the fee, although located on upper floors.

parking except on the weekends pretty good, right in front of the hotel, no elevator, stairs are hard to climb (for me), friendly people at the reception, bar area is cosy, location is very convenient to go (by bus) or bike to city center

Cozy, Victorian style hotel. Room was quiet and nicely furnished with comfortable period furniture. We had dinner in the elegant restaurant two times and the food was outstanding! Staff were courteous and helpful.

A good hotel for the St Giles area
The Cotswold Lodge Hotel is a good hotel. It's in a convenient location and offers free parking. Breakfast was nice, and generally the hotel met my expectations.

It's a 10min stroll through the parks to the city centre. There are excellent pubs and restaurants right across the road. In 5mins you can get to Jericho which is full of bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The parking is great, the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely and clean.

Ok hotel. Clean
Hotel was clean. Room was small. But ok. Bed was clean. A little hard. Room was super hot. Woke me up at night. Window opened but no radiator visible to turn down. Breakfast was good. But £2.50 extra for cappuccino was ridiculous. Shower was a dribble. And temperature was either HOT. or COLD. Resteraunt was a reason I picked here. I booked a table. When I came down it was closed and I had a table in the bar. I was the only one eating. Food was nice. But no way it was cooked fresh just for me. The desert had a choux pastry. Was stale and cold. Clearly had been in the fridge. Don’t serve it if your not going to it fresh, but are going to trade of your AA rosette. Plugs in room were hard to access and none by the bed. Just a minor annoyance. Close to bus stop and close to town. I’d probably stay again. But it was an average hotel. Decor a bit dated and could do with a refresh.

I will definitely book this Hotel again. We were met with a friendly welcome checking in and out. We had the Pembroke room which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Hotel is walking distance to the centre of Oxford.

We chose this place to stay because of its proximity to Oxford and open car park. While it was pretty nice it suffered from a lack of updates that should have been considered for a $220 room. The tub had a strange folding door that didn't really work right and when opened all the way made a horrendous noise. The power outlets looked like they were from the 80s. The TV did not get almost any channels and was from a good 15 years ago. The queen bed was on a box spring that was too short and the room overall was surprisingly small. It wasn't a bad place but it wasn't particularly great either.
