«Great old hotel, with a fantstic location. The chateau may trusts its historical pedigree and past glory a little too much. The rooms (at least ours) might need a makeover. This goes for the ambience in general and the bathroom with it's in tub shower. It is absolutely shocking that you have to pay for WiFi separately in 2023. In my experience it is only a handful of hotels in the entire world that still requires such payments, and they are usually well below the Chateau Laurier ...

«We were in Ottawa for a tournament, the location was great for us and it was not that far of a drive to the major Ottawa attractions, We booked with the included breakfast, it was a really good buffet style that included eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage all kinds of fruit, breads and yogurt, cereal etc. overall we were very happy with the breakfast options and the staff were awesome!»
