Romantiske hoteller i Ottawa Valley

"Great old hotel, with a fantstic location. The chateau may trusts its historical pedigree and past glory a little too much. The rooms (at least ours) might need a makeover. This goes for the ambience in general and the bathroom with it's in tub shower. It is absolutely shocking that you have to pay for WiFi separately in 2023. In my experience it is only a handful of hotels in the entire world that still requires such payments, and they are usually well below the Chateau Laurier ambition. Common areas such as lobby, lifts, lobby bar and the restaurant are great and so well kept. I love that they have preserved details such as the trough the floor mailboks system, revolving doors etc. And beeing there on Rememberance the experience of meeting kilted bagpipers and soldiers with bear fur hats enhanced that feeiling of beeing part of (sort of) a glorious history.
