«Great place to stay for a few days. Note that the water access is a few minute walk across the road but the lake is quite nice. We couldn't get the gas fireplace turned on but we also didn't ask for assistance with it as we really didn't need it and were only there for two nights. We did have a fire in the firepit outside which was really nice.»

«Very nice little cabin set among tall pine trees. Great home base for people taking the whitewater courses at Paddler’s Co-op in Palmer Rapids. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook. All is very clean and works well. The hosts live on the farm and have very nice eggs for sale. The only thing was the washroom doesn't have a door and isn't completely closed off (it is sectioned off behind the main room), so just be advised before you go. «We had a great time with our family of 5. It was exactly what we expected. The kids enjoyed fishing from the dock, kayaking, and trying out the paddleboard. The only issue was that four days wasn't enough. Upon checking out, we had the chance to meet Tom. He was polite and courteous. He wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. We would definitely book again.»

«Only the main house is usable, the shed (a separate room with a double and bunk beds) smells like a subtropical forest has grown inside. The main house it's okay for the price, nothing fancy, good for three people, washroom kitchen and two rooms. The TV needs and upgrade, they have a 25 years old 20 inches LG Tv (probably the first smart tv ever) apps wont work anymore, even youtube is almost unusable ( the 5mbps wifi conection wont help as well).
