This was the first time I have stayed at the Brookstreet where I had a bad stay. I wound up in one of those adjoining rooms. The people next to us (my 80 yr old mom and me) came back to their room at around 11 pm, very drunk. They were loud talking/arguing for an hour and a half and we could hear every single word through the paper thin walls. The language was very vulgar and not something we wanted to hear. Then when they were finished the arguing part, they decided to “make up” for over a half hour. I was shocked at what could be heard through the thin walls.
I thought about making a complaint but then thought twice. I was concerned that these people would simply amp up the noise and we would get no peace at all. I told the Brookstreet at check out and they comped the parking, but ….. it was not a pleasant stay.
My advice is to make sure you do not get a room with an adjoining room, unless you have family or friends staying in the room beside you.
