Escape to Family Village, by the pristine Adriatic Sea. This apartment for 4 is part of a 4-star resort with 64 units near Otranto, in the heart of Salento. The family-friendly resort has been created from local stone and reflects some of Puglia’s unique architecture. With a lush gardens and a large shared swimming pool, it is a perfect option for all ages, looking for summer fun.

The first-floor apartment has a pretty, arched balcony complete with a table and chairs, for meals al fresco. Inside the airy open-plan living space is furnished with a divan/sofa, flat-screen TV, dining table for 4 and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a cooker hob, Moka coffee maker and a fridge/freezer.

The resort offers a wide range of facilities including a shared pool (with a lifeguard); entertainment for all ages; a safe children’s play area; a supermarket; a newsagent; a restaurant and bar; boutique; ATM and a full-time reception to help with any queries.

The living room has a double bed, 2 single beds, a wardrobe and an air conditioner.

Bathroom
The modern bathroom is divided into 2 rooms, one equipped with a box shower and basin. The other has a bidet and WC.

Umbrellas and loungers on the beach are available on request for an additional fee, with shuttle service payable on-site.
A €100 deposit is required upon arrival and will be refunded at check-out.
A €50 cleaning fee will be withheld from the deposit if the kitchen is left dirty with unwashed dishes.

Location
Close to some of Salento’s most beautiful beaches, between Torre dell’Orso and Otranto, Family Village is well-located for guests who want to explore Puglia’s ancient past and relax in the sun. If you can tear yourself away for the resort’s beach then a trip to Baia dei Turchi (13 minutes) and the Faraglioni di Sant’Andrea bathing rocks (10 minutes) will make an excellent day out.

Away from the coast, the famous Alimini lakes are a haven for bird watchers. Alimini Grande is just a 4-minute drive from the resort. Here visitors can enjoy hiking, picnicking and swimming or they can hire canoes.

The peaceful port town of Otranto (18 minutes) makes a lovely day out. Here visitors can enjoy the castle, a lively port and excellent restaurants. The weekly market (Wednesday morning) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home. If you miss the market there are several supermarkets in the town.

The closest airport is at Brindisi - 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car.
