«This is an oasis of peace. Although it is not right on the beach, the turtle preserve walkway to the beach is very close by and easily accessible. The TREE HOUSE was great! Big, spacious, clean and comfy with all the amenities and furnishings anyone can need. It had good indoor and outdoor lighting, plenty of parking and is situated very scenically on the property. We loved our time here. The host is gracious and welcoming.»

«Not very hacienda style design. Poor food, nothing to do beside being at the pool or in the standard pool. Beach ok to look at, but can't really use it or swim in the sea. Could be anywhere, far from anything resembling the real Costa Rica. Offering extremely expensive transportation to airport, added another 165 usd to the bill for a 45 min drive in the early morning in a worn out Toyota Lancruiser. But beautiful view to the Pacific. And reception did change my room to one with actual sea view ...

«Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach.
Private pool was very nice and overall good stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! »

«Rooms were clean. We had the queen by the pool. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The view from the pool is stunning. Very relaxing spot. 25-30 minutes from Tamarindo beach. Food on site for lunch was great. Breakfast was ok. Carolina and Enrique were very kind and helpful. All in all a nice spot. We didn’t use the spa only the hot tub. But it looked nice. The road to get there is a bit windy and rough. But part of the adventure! »

«The stay at El Sabanero Eco- Lodge was incredible. I stayed there with one of my close friends in a single bed suite. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. It was amazing the ways that the lodge works to be eco-friendly while still offering a comfortable experience. There was a water station for hot and cold water to fill your water. The wifi does not connect in the cabins however it was incredible to disconnect and the wifi in the main lobby worked well. The road where the ...
