«A real gem of a place just a few minutes walk to the beach. Quiet, clean, and helpful staff. Pros: best Gluten-free menu and food of our 7 day trip. Chefs kiss!! The tuna and blackened fish were out of this world. Pool was warm and open all hours. Grounds were well kept. Tennis courts available. Cons: no TV in room, but really what are you doing inside anyway. »

«Not very hacienda style design. Poor food, nothing to do beside being at the pool or in the standard pool. Beach ok to look at, but can't really use it or swim in the sea. Could be anywhere, far from anything resembling the real Costa Rica. Offering extremely expensive transportation to airport, added another 165 usd to the bill for a 45 min drive in the early morning in a worn out Toyota Lancruiser. But beautiful view to the Pacific. And reception did change my room to one with actual sea view ...

«What a magical spot nestled in Playa Avellanas! We loved our time at Cabinas Las Olas - the rooms are great - clean and super comfortable. «I stayed at The Nomadic and had such a good experience. Mariela, Cynthia, Sylvia, and Levi were all so friendly and welcoming. You can feel the effort they put into creating a comfortable environment. The shared room was very clean, comfortable, and well thought out. There were hooks, shelves, and two drawers under each bed which made it easy to stay organized.
