«A beautifully renovated spacious apartment in the heart of Ortigia. The property manager, Mariangela, was both friendly and very efficient. We had to change our dates because of airline schedule changes and she handled this without any drama. During our stay an aircon unit failed and it was repaired within hours without any inconvenience to us. Thanks for a great visit to Ortigia.»

«Overall a nice, roomy property in a great location close to the main tourist street and close to Coop grocery store. Shower water pressure could be improved but still manageable. My only criticism is that the property listing said parking was “onsite” but it’s definitely not! Parking is on the mainland about a 10 minute walk away. The walk to the parking area is not too bad, but I think the listing should be changed to make it more accurate. Still, this is a nice apartment and location, ...

«Heaven in Ortigia! Carmelo was so kind and responsive. We loved every minute in this thoughtfully appointed, spacious and welcoming home. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to all of Ortigia’s beautiful sights and restaurants, as well as very easily accessible to Siracusa and the train/bus stations by cab (5 minutes, 15 Euro) or foot (15-20 mins). We got the impression that the owner may have been burned by previous renters as he was very insistent on points that most VRBO hosts would just leave in a note on the table in the room. «This is a very nice and special house! Exquisitely furnished, and with great art on the walls. It was very clean and proper as well as charming ! We enjoyed staying so close to everything. The sea with nice small beaches, and lovely fresh water :) and all the restaurants and interresting historical buildings!!! We even got to know some sweet cats in the narrow streets ! And of course we tid not miss the Theatro dei Pupi ! Also close to the house.»
