The location near the parks was great so we chose this house after seeing it had a hot tub. We are extremely disappointed and feel as if we were deceived. We requested the heat for the spa at an extra cost. We got there Saturday and went to turn it on around 6pm. Nothing. Called the property manager and left a message. They eventually got back to us and sent someone out. Got home went to put it on…well it doesn’t work so I left yet another message. When the manager got back to me he said it was on a timer for 12 hours 9-9. This is NOT stipulated anywhere. What good is a hot tub after a long day of parks id we can’t use it to relax which is why we chose the house. The lanai had three missing panels letting in bugs and the pool area was complete with used bandaids that were never cleaned from previous renters. The house itself is fine if you are just staying to sleep. It definitely needs updating. Beds are old and uncomfortable. It said linens available…we eventually found the towels in the dryer which would have been nice to know before we ran out and bought some. Communication is poor and then when you call out the owner in this ridiculousness he is snippy. Leaving messages and talking to property managers and VRBO while in amusement parks you pay a lot of money for isn’t what you want to do when you are trying to enjoy a family vacation. Haven’t heard from owner or VRBO regarding my hot tub complaint and request for reimbursement.

Family Time

I enjoyed the cozy neighborhood but we couldn’t get a hold of the property manager so we could pay for a spa for two days. The rooms were nice but the tv’s wouldn’t stay on. I did though enjoy my 2 day stay there.

Beautiful and peaceful home

We loved everything about the home. Perfect for our family with plenty of sleeping areas. The pool and hot tub were great for after long days at the parks and on our non park days. 20-30 mins from Walt Disney world and Sea World parks. We hope to come down again in a few years and stay in the same home!

No pride of Ownership

We recently stayed in this unit for 3 weeks. The layout of the house was great. The location was wonderful and the neighborhood was nice. NO PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP!I wasted my money and my time here!The pool/hot tub, was extremely important to us.The host advertises a heated pool and a hot tub. It states that the pool and the hot tub will not exceed 95 degrees. The hot tub and pool did not heat the entire first week. They said they “fixed it” and we spent the next 2 weeks listening to a banging noise from the diversion pipe. We were there for 3 weeks! Never did the pool temperature get higher than 80 degrees, making it unusable to us. The hot tub temperature barely touched 92 degrees 3 out of the twenty days we were there, making this essentially unusable also. Plus, the hot tub tiles and grout are covered with mold. Host offered to reimburse the extra charges for pool/tub heating. Still has not reimbursed us.Local management: extremely unhelpfulHost: extremely unhelpfulNothing we expressed concern with was corrected. Fans caked with dust, sheet had hardened stain on it, in the Mbath there’s brown and red stains on the wall by the toilet. Rusted sinks, stove was a definite fire hazard in my opinion.

Definitely Not A Deluxe Villa

This Property looks like it doesn't belong in the Block by the Appearance.Sidewalks are uneven and the amount of little leaves from the big tree in the front yard WILL end up in the property and in the rental car.Rhe house definitely needs a upgrade. Very little untenils they scattered around the drawers to make look as if they had alot. Water stains under the cabinets.The Extras they leave for you are minimal and came from the dollar store (tissue &paper towels) They left 2 extra garbage bags.The Capper is that the Pool Section was missing 2 Screen panels which exposed US to Dragon Flies & A Harring waiting for us to leave on the Roof of the property. I paid for the heat for the Spa and was in it 20/30 minutes one day before my wife noticed the family of Dragon Flies, then the Harring was spotted.No Communication was never continued after I addressed those issues too.

We go to Florida every year for horror nights at universal so we are at the pool all day most days which is why the pool and spa are a priority when selecting a house. I paid extra for pool heat but it never worked. I called management company every day and they said they would check on it but

Great vacation home

Great vacation home. Close to Disney parks. Only disadvantages were not enough towels/washcloths and cosmetically house could use some upgrades. But nothing that would make me not stay here again! Definitely a good place to stay at a great value!

Old and unkept

The pictures currently listed are deceiving in our opinion. The house was dirty inside and out, this includes the deck, pool area, and even lawn. We had issues with toilets and the jacuzzi working, but management was not helpful and would not come back to fix the toilet. There is also a broken shower. Being old would not be a problem if they had kept up the property and cleaned it, we would not recommend using this property.

Our worst stay in Florida

First thing make sure you bring all of the spices coffee crea m and sugar because there isn't t anything for you. Make sure you bring toilet paper paper towels laundry soap and softner sheets. Make sure you bring extra towels there is not enough for the max amount of people wash rags are not to clean It's not real clean the master bed needs a new mattress . We could not go swimming the first week we were there because of a screan not being on the mosquitos would eat you up the jacuzzi did not work are whole stay.

Spring Break

Overall the place was not horrible. The furniture was outdated and needs a deep cleaning. Additionally, there were a lot of spiders. What was the most problematic the pool needs cleaning and the spa that I paid to have heated never worked despite maintenance coming out twice. I will have to say it was quit and maintenance came quickly after we called. One other thing, I do not recommend going if you’re a sports watcher because there is only a very basic cable plan so no sports channels, not good during March Madness. I do recommend owner replacing cookware, very limited.

Read Me!!!

I rely heavily on the opinions of others. We rent a house in Orlando every summer, I will tell you honestly how this home measures up. Aesthetically, it is older but typical. When I rent I don’t look at that. I want comfort and accessibility. As far as comfort, the beds are old and need to be replaced very cheap mattresses that are worn out. The air is set at 72, if you have hot flashes don’t stay here. We drive to other destinations after FL so doing laundry is a must. The washer stays on spin cycle. It is old and does not function properly. The pool has to be heated (extra charge) for the hot tub to work. It has an auto shut off at 10, so no soaking in a hot tub after a long day at the parks. That was a disappointment. Our AC broke during our stay. The property manager was great. The AC was fixed. They found us another house for the night, it was promptly fixed the next day. Good location easy to get every where. Things I would fix as a property owner: new mattresses, get rid of old dingy carpet, give it a pressure wash and all over paint and new washer and dryer. The highlight of my stay was the strong water pressure in the master bathroom shower.

Great property, but probably best for summer stays

This was a great property that is in a great area if you're looking for plenty of options. Close to Disney and Universal, a lot of different dining options, and several shopping locations nearby. The property listing is spot on--photos are true to form (no 'realtor' tricks to make spaces look bigger or different), and the space was great for our family of four. But, in full transparency, there were some things that weren't great: - If you pay for the heated pool and spa like we did, note that the heat only works between 9am and 9pm, and you have to turn on the spa (on a 60-minute timer) multiple times to heat the spa (and have some heated water trickle into the pool). That wasn't good. After a long day at the parks, all we could do was stare at a cold pool and cold spa wishing the timer could be set later. - The pool level fell below the minimum, so we had a day when the system had shut down. We had to run a cold hose into the pool to get the water level up and have the maintenance crew reset the system. - Speaking of maintenance, the crews will come by unannounced and let themselves into the yard and pool/spa area, so be aware of that. This freaked out my pre-teen son a few times. - There is no instruction manual in the house like it says in the email. There is a list of instructions on the refrigerator. - The surrounding houses are VERY close together, and all the backyards butt up against each other. This was a little problematic when the neighbors were outside smoking cigarettes and weed, which quickly stunk up the outside. - The vents and fans in the house were covered with dust, and the bathrooms had mildew or black mold. The vacuum cleaner didn't work at all--it was old and seemed to have a clog in the hose. - We recommend taking your own pillows. The ones provided seemed old and very flat, and who knows the last time they were cleaned. - If you go in the winter and there is a cold snap, be prepared to freeze inside. The heat was set to 61 most times, and turning up the heat was only temporary. We had two very cold nights where we could see our breath in the bedrooms. Overall, the house was good and the location was great. This was a decent stay for us, and certainly much cheaper than staying at a hotel, but we probably won't rent this property again for our next Christmas week vacation. With the restrictions on the heat/air and pool heating, this is better for a spring, summer, or fall rental.

It was okay . . .

While the house is a nice house and has potential it lacks in cleanliness. Definitely NEEDS a GOOD scrub inside and out. Pictures in listing are deceiving. Owner needs to give this property a little TLC and hire a new management company. As I know its a "rental" i should not expect perfection but the management company this owner uses should take more pride in representing their customers. We stayed a full week, pool was not very clean, patio area could use a good power washing. Bathrooms really need a good scrubbing. We cleaned upon arrival after a quick trip to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies. Bring towels for the pool as none are provided and extra bath towels if traveling with a large party. Beds need to be fixed as headboards are very loose. One of the twin beds in the back left "boys" bedroom cannot be slept on as it tips toward one side. As soon as my son sat down upon arrival the bed flipped toward the wall. Vertical Blinds throughout the house do not close properly, time for an upgrade on them Kind of BS that you have to pay extra for a heated pool or to use the hot tub. Should be included in the price in my opinion, other properties i have rented didn't charge extra. And for the cleaning fee charged house should be immaculate. We left it cleaner than we found it. Stove needs to be serviced its dangerous for the gas to leak out of the side of the burners on very bottom when burner is turned on. So we opted to not cook at the house and ate out. Bring toilet paper as one roll per bathroom provided. The pool table and air hockey table in garage is a nice touch but both need work as they are very rickety and nearing retirement. But, aside from the cosmetic flaws, house is in a great location. Quick on and off highways, lots of great places to shop and eat. 25 minutes top from all Disney parks and 35 minutes from Universal. Quiet, safe and peaceful neighborhood.

Dissatisfied

We went 5 days without the internet therefore we couldn't watch any movies. The pool spa didn't work until Thursday. We thought in was non smoking but there were Marijuana and cigarettes butts left in garage and pool area. The pool area where the table is had a really bad mildew stain that we cleaned up. We took pictures of minor things like wholes in the wall knobs missing from closet. We talked to a rep named Shon who never called back. He was going to talk to us about a refund. Never did call back. We loved the concept of the house.

My overall review

Place was nice and spacious and Roomy! Only issue I had was when I used ice from ice maker it was dirty and had some brown stuff in ice so I had to buy a bag of ice . And the pool had a lot of broken water balloons , like if kids was there before me and must used water balloons because they were all over pool and on the deck. But them two minor things house was nice and very spacious.

Not as expected

Location is really good the property is not maintained as described. I checked in late night and notice roaches in kitchen and rooms. The dinning chairs as wavy and not steady, same goes to the bed. Pool policy is not mentioned while booking and later comes to know for additional charges. Another thing is property manager is not available after hours and need to call them to reach and can not leave a chat message through vrbo. That’s weird as they want booking through vrbo but any issue I need to call the property manager. I didn’t book through property manager so I am hoping property manager should response via vrbo chat message. I would not prefer to book this location for future visit.

The family had fun here with plenty of room for each person.

This house was plenty big enough for our family. The pool was a great place to relax at the end of our day. The bathroom shower can use a good scrub though. Beware of the fireants that we were constantly cleaning out of the master bathroom tub and some little geckos that sneak through the windows somehow (as I tried to catch them lol). I would recogmebd taking dishcloths, dishsoap, hand soap and toilet paper and papaer towel with. It was awesom to have extra sheets for each bed and a washing machine and dryer for laundry. Over all the house did what we needed from it. Could use some love and care on the exterior and yard, but that's my expertise so... take that for what it's worth. Anyways we would come and stay again in the future .
