This two-story home at Veranda Palms Resort covers 3,565 square feet and sleeps 24 across eight bedrooms and six baths, set up for a large group travelling with kids of different ages. Three bedrooms are themed (Minions, Mickey & Minnie and Lion King), and the garage is now a game room with a ping-pong table, a sofa with TV and a kids' corner full of toys, so the house keeps everyone busy once the parks close. Living, dining and kitchen share one open space with a granite island and bar stools, and the glass doors lead to the covered patio and the private pool with spa, inside a screen enclosure. Upstairs are five suites, each with its own bathroom, which shortens the shower line before heading to the parks; downstairs, three bedrooms share one full bathroom.

Veranda Palms Resort is in Kissimmee, and guests have access to the clubhouse with its lounge, the fitness center and the resort pool, with two water slides and a splash area for kids. The community has quiet streets for walking and access to the Shingle Creek nature preserve.

You have exclusive use of the entire home: the eight bedrooms, the six bathrooms, living and dining areas, kitchen, laundry, the game room and the backyard with the private pool, spa, covered patio and grill. Parking is on the driveway; there is no garage for cars, since it was turned into a game room. The shared amenities of Veranda Palms Resort are open to you: the clubhouse with its lounge, the fitness center and the pool with water slides. There is an exterior security camera at the front entrance. The home comes with a starter kit of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, toiletries, a dish sponge, dish soap and laundry soap, which is not replenished during the stay.

Our team is based in Orlando, not managing your stay from another time zone, and is reachable 24/7 by message and phone, with support in several languages. We answer questions about the house, the resort gate, park tickets, dining and transportation, and we sort out the things that do not follow the plan, such as a flight that lands after midnight or a payment that needs another route.

During your stay the whole house belongs to your group. Access instructions are sent before check-in at 4 pm, so you can drive straight to the house with no front desk to stop at. Pool and spa heating or a propane tank for the grill are requested through the booking conversation, with the advance notice given in the description, and check-out is at 10 am.

Veranda Palms Resort is in Kissimmee, on the Disney side of Orlando, with residential streets of two-story homes, palm trees and open lawns, and access to the Shingle Creek nature preserve. By car, Disney is 13 to 18 minutes away, Walmart 5 to 8, the Vineland outlets 15 to 22, Orlando International Airport (MCO) 17 to 22 and Universal 22 to 30 minutes.

A rental car is the practical way to get around, and the driveway has room for more than one car, which helps a large group. The resort connects to the main roads that link Kissimmee to the Disney and Universal park entrances and to the shopping areas, and rideshare services operate in the area for the days when nobody wants to drive.
