Luxury disappointment

This home was far from luxury. Chairs looked like they’re 20 years old. No apps on the any of the tv’s, pool was dirty , never cleaned, my son had to go to urgent care due to eyes getting infected, lizard infestation in girls room . This home needs to be updated asap.

Golfers only stay/trip

The house clean and all enjoyed our stay. The pool area/patio was somewhat dirty. There was some mold on the the walls in the pantry. The group of golfers staying didn’t smell or notice any odors while there but when We all arrived home our wife’s pointed out that all our clothing from the trip had a musty odor.

Plenty of Room But...

Property really needs some updates. Bathroom floor are peeling up and the bedroom furniture has so much wood/water damage. We didn't have any tv service for 5 of the 7 bedrooms. We used our playstation to stream in the living room.Cable company said it was because owner did not update the cable line in the attic. we waited 6 days before we cold all watch tv. We left the next guests all of the extra paper towels and toilet paper and a few extra bath towels as there are not many provided. Should have towels for at least 7 or 8 people for a home that has 7 bedrooms. Pool was nice. We were very close to WDW and that made it worth it. We have talked to other owners in the neighborhood and next year will look into booking with them. Air conditioner did work very well, never needed to lower it and it was very hot. I would suggest to check to see if everything is working prior to each guest checking in. Housekeeping can do this just by turning on the tv's. Almost all remote controls were missing batteries or had black electrical tap on the back to hold in batteries. If the furniture was replaced, tv working and more bath towels are provided we would stay here again.

Was unable to stay due to the unsafe safety conditions at the home.When we arrived at the home it wasn't clean and smell like dogs was living in this home. Pool sliding doors , one wouldn't close and the other one wouldn't open. The pool looks like it needs to be resurfaced. Hot tub didn't work. The pictures that's shown the sight doesn't reflect the current condition of the home in fact there totally different. I wouldn't recommend this home to nobody?

2626 Emerald Stay

The house had a good layout and served us well in that regard. The furniture is very worn in most rooms. The kitchen table should be discarded. I've stayed in many VRBO's and they were all in much better shape. This place is in need of some careful TLC. If that is done it would be a great place to stay.

Repeat Rental

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and have been pleased. There were some minor issues this time (they could not have been avoided), but getting them resolved was easy and done quickly. I would definitely choose to stay again. No complaints at all.

Friends Trip

This property was perfect for our large group of friends. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, with plenty of living area space as well! The pool and hot tub were great to come home to after being out running around all day. The house was basic but had everything we needed. We would recommend this house for low maintance people.

perfect home away from home

We have stayed in Emerald Island several times. This was one of the best experiences. The home was clean and updated. There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy without feeling crowded. We will definitely be rebooking this home again next year. The entire process was easy and stress free, from booking, check-in and departure. The owner made things great!

Buy everything!

So the listing tell you that laundry soap and toilet paper is not provided but we had to buy LITERALLY everything. No: -Trash Bags -Dish Soap -Sponges -Ect. There were only 4 forks for 14 of us... For the price I just expected to have more amenities provided. 1 set of pots and pans.. It was a nice house and plenty of room just spent more than planned on those types of items. Most places we have stayed in the past had these. A heads up would have been nice. Good things there was a walmart 5 minutes away.

Great location. House met our needs. But furniture needs to be upgraded. Chair cushions on dinette set were ripped and chair legs were loose. Also game room needs update. Only main issue was security at gate not letting registered guests in.

Disappointing

July 2022-When we arrived, the cleaning lady was still there, so we couldn't get in until 4:30. The pics on the website are very deceiving. The livingroom is not fully furnished, just a loveseat. The sofa that goes with the love seat and another loveseat was in the family room. The furniture pictured on the website in the family room is gone. Two of the chairs at the kitchen table were broken. We took two chairs from the dining room table so we could eat together in the kitchen, where we preferred. The kitchen only had small and medium sauce pots and pans. We had to borrow a large pot and skillet for spaghetti night. No colander, I bought one from the dollar store. A toaster oven would've served better than a toaster. Pool area is small, not enough room to sit comfortably and walk with safety gate up. Not recommended for small children, our youngest is 18. A lot of the other homes have extended patios, where there is more walking room for little ones. Air hockey table in garage is broken. Master BR downstairs where my parents slept, the bed is high, please watch your shins. Upstairs Master BR was shocking. The linens were old and worn, but clean. The furniture...what I thought were large drops of paint on the dresser and both end tables were pieces missing. Like someone was picking or peeling at the surface, or spilled something liquid on it. At least cover these areas with a nice cloth, if you're not going to replace it. Again, how the house looks in the pics is NOT how it looks in person. Furniture definitely needs to be updated. I will say, the place was clean. I saw a review that complained of bugs/roaches. We did not have that problem at all.

Disney Vacation

Upon arrival, I went to the supermarket and bought cleaning supplies to re-clean the house. There was snack items under the bed and the dresser. The property was infected with roaches in kitchen, upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Totally unacceptable! One of the kitchen chairs popped in half when my grandson sat in it. The trash can was full upon our arrival last Sunday; had to wait until Wednesday for the truck to come

Never again

The quality of this property was poor. You don't even have enough kitchen ware to cook a good meal for your family. The game tables are broken and missing pieces. The garage door handle and door are broke....the property had roaches and the owner is just a person out to get money and couldn't care about the tenants who are renting the property.

Casa amplia

La casa está amplia estábamos cómodos, me gusto que todas las tiendas y los parques nos quedo cerca, el problema fue la Piscina está pequeña y muy sucia cuando regaban el césped entraba agua con tierra el cual le informamos al propietario trataron de arreglarlo pero seguía igual tienen que darle mas mantenimiento, no lo pudimos disfrutar aunque pague extra por el jacuzzi del agua caliente separado, sillas estaban rotas espero que reparen y actualicen la propiedad.

Reminded me of an unkept frat house, save your $$$ keep looking!

For the $$$$$ paid for 7 nights and a house that sleeps 20, ( we had 10 total) I was taken back by the lack to maintenance. Nothing is new as stated in the listing, just about every wall, table, dish, chair, screen mesh was dirty, broken or unusable! Kitchen table and chairs wobbly, for a 7 night stay we got 2 rolls of Toilet paper and 2 dishwashing pods and 1 trash bag, Dishes were dirty out of the cabinet. All furniture bed, end tables, couches, worn, torn warped or broken. Beds also broken - like broken and not usable. I had to scrape off harden on sauced of some sorts. Bed covers were dirty and stained, each wall had food and nastiness on them, hand rail to second floor broken and disconnected from wall, each air vent for (ac/heat) had black soot / dirt on the wall where air came out. Just about every member that stayed for the week had sore throats, coughs and even bronchitis from poor quality air. Bath/shower curtain and doors were all moldy. Outdoor space was dirty, chairs were dirty and moldy, tiles were broken and my son cut his foot first night in pool. There were about 6-7 large rips/rears in the screen which was not keep out bugs and small animals. Screens were also moldy and dirty. Window coverings were all blinds in which about every room had broken or missing blinds. Game room was a bust, pool table was broken and not level, couldn't level due to legs be broken and every time you barely touch it, it wobbled & stick tips broken or missing, air hockey table also broken with holes in the top that prevented proper air flow to play. Game room was also the garage and not air conditioned and super hot. Found someone elses clothes and old lint in the laundry area. The ac ended up breaking, they did not come out till next say and un-announced @ 8am when everyone was still sleeping. One of the smoke alarms kept beeping and they refused to fix so we unplugged it. Kitchen decor, fake plants and lighting all had an inch of dust on them, listing also states heat pool and hot tub and that a frill was onsite, the catch, you have to pay extra... they did not allow you to turn up or down temperature to your comfort level, they wrote 'do not change' on all thermostats! I have pictures of all the nastyness and everything I've noted above! They even expected us to take someone else's trash out - when the trash barrels were full upon arrival they told us to cart them down to the trash compactor! Don't waste your $$$$ here, you'll be disappointed!

Family trip

Overall, the home was nice. The only reason I couldn't give a five on the cleanliness because we couldn't use the pool. It was the day for them to clean the pool, they came by why we were out and cleaned the pool, but it was so much debris in there we still couldn't make use of it.

Family golf trip

The house is in need of sprucing up with new paint and a good cleaning. The pool was not cleaned for 3.5 of the 5 days we stayed at the house, I also found a cockroach in the cabinet. Unfortunately, the house has a potential to be a fantastic house, but it was not being taken care of. I would not be staying here again. Yan was very good with handling things quickly.

Worst vacation home my family and I have ever stayed in. To start off, the rental said we could come in at 4 pm without any early arrivals (they are not at all flexible unless it benefits them). We arrived at noon and waited outside for four hours until we were legally allowed to enter the house. The cleaning ladies were still there when we tried to enter, they were in robes and told us we were not allowed to go in yet as they had not finished cleaning. We then called the property manager who said we were not allowed to go in until they were finished (even though the contract stated otherwise). (This was during New Years Eve, so of course we wanted to go in, shower, and get ready to enjoy the New Year). They left around 5:30 pm, which was when we entered the house and were disgusted by how dirty the property was. It was unbelievable how much dust EVERYWHERE. It was truly disgusting to the point where we had to start cleaning at least some areas of the house to make it hospitable for the next few days. Truly gross. Needless to say, because of this inconvenience and having to clean a house that was supposedly “clean”, we all had to cancel our plans for NYE. As we spent our vacation in this property we also realized that things are not as advertised: the jacazzi does not work, the pool does not heat up (even though we paid EXTRA for it to warm up), the pool table and the other game table they have are both broken. The contract says that the entry to the condominium requires a payment that will be returned as you leave and return the card to the reception area, we had to pay which were never returned. Several times during our stay we called the property manager to see if they could fix the pool issue and heat up the water, since it was very cold during our stay, they did absolutely nothing for us. I do not recommend this property, it is dirty, gross, is not at all as advertised, and the property managers have zero respect for the people that rent from them. Zero stars.

Okay!

Was disappointed about the pool being dirty and not having my grill when I requested it. Certain Furniture was broken..need to be replace. It was very dusty in the house especially in the kitchen. Kitchen smell pretty bad because of the garbage disposal wasn't clean out. The game room wasn't great either...need to replace pool table and ice hockey game(did not work). The space was awesome just wish the things I listed was fixed. It would have been great.

Great location. Close to Disney. Large home but many pieces of broken furniture and no TVs worked.

This home was in a nice location and was large enough to accommodate my party of 12, but it had many things wrong with it. Two bedrooms had broken bed frames. One couch was broken. None of the televisions worked. The pool filter was incredibly loud all day long. You could hear it throughout the entire house. The pool level was low, as was the hot tub. My daughter found an earring in the hot tub! When I called the property manager about of this he said he was not concerned about the furniture or filter noise. His main concern was the televisions. He never fixed it or called me back as promised. We called a second time and left a message. He never got back to us. The house needs some MAJOR TLC for sure. Most of the furniture has stains and markings all over it. The walls have markings throughout the home. It seems like all that is being done is renting out the home, but no maintenance of the property. For the amount of money that is charged to rent this home, more work should be done with the upkeep of the property.
