« Staff (Peggy) was very friendly and accommodating. Family and I used to come fairly often 25-30 years ago. Nice to see they have the same themed rooms. As always, being right on the ocean front, dealing with sand and TLC for the property is a constant job. I spent four nights there and really enjoyed myself. There was a time a number of years ago when they no longer allowed children. Not sure that is still the case, but would be worthwhile to check. »

«Silver Surf is "just another motel" along the Oregon coast in the middle of nowhere. Appeared desolated even if there other guets there. A complimentary continental "breakfast" is served on a shelf in the open outside the lobby. The breakfast was a jug of juice, coffee and a few scones. There are two separate WiFi connections and none of them was stable enough to be of any use. We were somewhat turned down by a "welcome letter" stating a lot of conditions in a not very welcoming tone. If they ...

«Not a very nice place. Grumpy old guy. Dated furnishings. The beds were up on blocks of wood on which i stubbed my toe and bled everywhere. We did a 7 night road trip and this was the the worst place. Would not recommend. »
